What are you playing?

So I thought I'd make up a thread on the games we're playing on our various phones. I know the Simpsons have a dedicated thread for it, but what else are y'all playing while waiting around for a few minutes somewhere?

My current go to game is Dark Summoner on Android. It also has an IoS version as well.

You play a monster summoner, obviously. You collect monster cards of various rarity (c, c+, b, b+, a, a+, AA and so on) You build a team of 5 and can do missions and battle others.

The really cool thing about Dark Summoner is there's a new event going on every week. They start Thursdays and go till Wednesday of the next week, so there's always something new and different to do. In addition, they get tons of new and unique monsters designed by famous artists. 2 weeks ago there was an event that netted me a AA card designed by the original creator of Ghost in the Shell.
It's a free game. You can pay money for soul points to buy energy potions or unique summons opportunities. I've been doing nothing but free play, though, and I've a ton of really cool monster cards.

Project Destiny

Bungie has kind of broken their silence on the big project that has been taking up their time since Halo.



Project Destiny looks to be a first person action game with a space theme. From the bits, it looks like you'll be able to customize the hell out of your guy, appearance and abilities wise, but beyond that, there's not a whole lot to glean, outside of art style.

The Newest (and last) Baby O'Hara

My daughter, Kaylee Dell O'Hara was born this week.

On Monday, Kat and I went in to have her induced. All day long, we did the labor down, pushing the pitocin, all that stuff, but we could not get her to drop into position.

The doctor we had just could not understand it. We'd had a sonogram on friday. It said she was about 9 pounds. A little big, but her head was right in line with our others at 12 inches.

So, long story short, we had an emergency C Section at 2 am on the 22nd.

The doctor pulls Kaylee out, looks at her and says, "I think I know what the problem was".

Kaylee was 10 pounds, 13 ounces. (would have been straight up 11, but the first thing she did was take a jive on the doctor's hands). She was 21 and 3 quarters long and had a head measurement of 14 and a half. She just wouldn't fit.

We just got home today, everyone is doing great. Kat and I agree, we are so done having kids.

This is what we've come to as a society. Dolls that jive rainbows and glitter. Game over, man, game over.

Outernauts

So I've heard a few things about this game that Insomniac did on facebook, called Outernauts. It seemed to be getting decent praise, so I thought I'd try it out. Basically, it's farmville meets Pokemon, with better looking monsters.

I've only played for an hour or so, but it seems pretty cool, though I do hate the 'you don't have enough energy for that'. Anyone else interested or even going to bother with this one?
