Time to look at new grills, I know it's not the ideal time to shop but I've got an Aussie charcoal grill that I picked up last year because the old one rusted out, it was intended to just last a season & it served it's purpose well, but now I think I need to upgrade. I am looking for a dual fuel as I prefer charcoal, but sometimes I am just not in the mood to wait. I am looking at a Triton http://www.academy.com/webapp/wcs/st...1__?N=77985508
that Academy has, anyone have one of these, if not, what are you using, and where would you recomend shopping for a new one for the best deal?

Ok, I tried to find a good thread to put this in but figured what the hell, I'll make a new one for it, think of this a a General discussion for the new universe (it only took 11 issues!)
Ok, it really took 3, this is really an excuse for me to post mainly about the new Earth 2 series, just read # 3 and I know that the Alan Scott thing is covered in another thread, but the way they are building the world, and introducing people...works. I am one of the ones that is irritated as hell about the whole orientation thing( I liked Obsidian ), but the fact that the new GL is HIGHLIGHT to view:
essentially Swamp Thing and appears to be the avatar of The Green, while the reperesentation of The Rot is Solomon Grundy? Hell yes! HIGHLIGHT to view:
A new JL appearing to be formed up to replace the fallen heroes, in in a huge arc but almost like small side stories that are told in a compelling way? I am there!
THIS is what I want to see out of DC, I will keep reading this book untill it stops being amazing, and only 3 issues in I am probably jinxing it, but so far this book is a winner.
The new Aquaman series is actually making me interested in the character, the Bat books are adding some really interesting things to the mythos & GL's are pretty much status quo, not much will change there, but I would like to see more done with heroes in the Nightwing/Redhood age range, the ex-Teen Titans that were "in a previous group that's not been mentioned". That leads me to my one complaing about the Nu52...

Now I do want to say as well that I have my issues with the not-a-reboot as well, I was behind it for a lot of reasons & I understand they need to clean a lot of things up & try to get new readers, I can get behind most of it, for a lot of it it really doesn't seem to have changed "that" much, but the biggest problem I have with it is the new Teen Titans series, I love the idea & I need my Tim Drake fix, but that book alone seems to stand out like a dick in a punchbowl when taken in stride with what some of the other books have hinted at. I have heard rumors that the Issue #0's are going to fix/correct/retcon some things to make it smooother, I just hope that is one of them (Teen Titans) on that list.

So, anyone at SDCC going to the DC panels/booths, feel free to drop some knowledge in here on thier future plans (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon-hotrod.gif)

Flashpoint To Be A DC Direct To DVD Animated Movie

Flashpoint. The alternate DC Comics history that reshaped the DC Universe and led to the DC Relaunch and the New 52 last year.

And now, it appears, to be the next DC Direct-To-DVD movie, according to Kevin Conroy who commonly plays Batman in such animations, and recorded his role in the new movie the other night…

Check in at around 05:20 into this week’s Comic Book Club…

Ok, having just finished watching the pilot of Grimm and the first two episodes of Once Upon a Time I can say that despite the fairy tale backgrounds they are distinctly different shows.
Grimm has a very Forever Knight feel to me (that's a good thing) in that it is a cop show with a solid premise, and the filming and cinematography are absolutly amazing epecially with how they differentiate the fantasy from what's "real" with the shifts in color. Story has yet to prove itself but the launch was enough to get me to want to see more.
OUaT is more of what I was expecting but with a twist, it's no surprise from the previews that it exists in "our" world, HIGHLIGHT to view:
but I wasn't expecting the constant shifts back and forth, the guests (Kristen Bauer as Maleficent) they have pop up as well as the potential for more Fairy Tale cameos has me really intrigued. And I didn't even know he was going to be in the show but I could watch Robert Carlyle reading nursrey rhymes. That man is amazing and soooo fit's the role, HIGHLIGHT to view:
even if it might be bordering on typecasting now.
Overall I like both of them for their very different presentations of similar themes, and think that both shows have a chance to do really well. So I guess I am just wondering if anyone else saw them & what you all think?
