King of the Nerds

Hey guys,

This show is very enjoyable. I was very cautious about watching the first episode and laughed a good bit of the time. I was afraid that it was either going to take itself way to seriously or that it was going to wind up being more of a let's make fun of nerds.

It really hit it right on, where they found a good selection of nerds/geeks, and it's actually fun to watch. Has anyone else watched it on TBS? What did you think?

Time for my news!

Well folks,

It's fitting that I am telling all of you today about my news. It appears that sometime in March(as of right now anyway), I will be having another son! As some of you may remember, my first son was stillborn back in 2004.

As for why it is fitting for me to tell everyone today, there are quite a few of you that helped me get through everything with my first daughter in 2004/5. Depending on your timezone today(1/31) is also the 8th anniversary of the death of my first daughter.

Daughter number 2, Lilly is still here and doing VERY well, and will be turning 4 in February. I am very happy to share the news with you guys and have been holding it off because everytime I went to post about it, someone else jumped in with their news, and I didn't want to steal their thunder.

Help with Kindles

Ok, My wife has decided that she wants a Kindle so we are looking into getting one. She's pretty sure that she want's a Fire, and is trying to decide what one to get.

She *thinks* that she will be mostly using it for books, and sometimes using it for Apps and internet surfing. She is not at this time really going to be using it for movies. I think it's going to be used for internet surfing and Apps more then books but I'm just the husband (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon-hotrod.gif)

Will it work the way she thinks it will? What is the best size? She's leaning towards the HD 16gig. I have my doubts and think that she should just go for the 32 gig. Will she use alot of memory? Do we actually need the extra?

Hostess the makers of Twinkies have announced that they are going out of business, no Twinkies to survive on now... it sucks. Mind you I don't think I've had a Twinkie in about 5 years but still.

Terra Nova

Well, I just watched the first episode last night, and I'm still not sure how I feel about it. It should be right up my alley, I've always loved Dinosaurs(hell I even enjoyed JP3), and I'm a big sci-fi buff. But i'm still not sure if it will be worth my time.

To start it's a FOX show, which just means that if it actually gets good, it's going to be canceled in about 2 months. Did anybody else watch it? if so what were your thoughts?
