I know we already have a catch all MLP thread, but I found this tolling around, and I just want to know is this dude a member here?
It's an epic use of science and physics to explain a silly cartoon. The story behind it is that he had to find some form of fiction and find out how they got the physics wrong

alright so here's the skinny.
My daughter who is in kindergarden brought home an invitation to a kids birthday party that is in her class. I called and RSVPd to it because she "really really really really REALLY!!!" wanted to go to the party. I asked the kids mother what kind of toys he like and she said that I didn't need to bring anything. My budget is pretty tight however being the big geek who can't disappoint a kid on his birthday. I asked my daughter what he likes. She told me he's always wearing TF, and spongebob shirts. So me being the hardcore tf collector I am, I think I can hook the kid up. Now here is where I need the help. The kid is turning 6, and I've got plenty of in box stuff that is just eating space. here is the question. Do you think he'd like an A 2007 movie allspark blue Deluxe new Cammero BumbleBee (target exclusive I picked up for a song on clearance) or B the reveal the shield redco of classic's BumbleBee? C go to walmart and grab 1 autobot and 1 decpitcon legends class figure off the shelve and give them to him. (So if he has a brother will be able to 'fight' each other) I'm leaning towards that reveal the shield BumbleBee, but I want an opinion other than my own here. The party is at 2 in the afternoon tomorrow thanks guys

So I rarely if ever do I post anything in the art section, but I've been teaching myself to use Blender. It's interface has got this combo of infuriatingly simple yet, horridly complex to get used to.
I've been working on more or less just trying to get a handle on the whole thing, but I've got enough to show and I want opinions on my work thus far. I plan on bone rigging, and animating him when I get the model finished. I might tweak the model to be transformable but I'm not quite that skilled in Blender yet anyway here's a render of my current progress, and any tips/hints/suggestions are welcome

So I looked and didn't see a topic for LBP2, but as the topic says.
I, or more accurately my wife got in to the LBP2 beta program. I started the download before we left to go see Tron. The first thing I did when I got home was pop the tv on to install and play. Sadly after installing it, and starting the game. I've got a gig worth of an update to download. I want to watch netflix on the Mac to kill time till its done, but that might hurt my bandwidth, and make it take longer am I loser or what?

Why aren't we getting TF prime toys?
I realize that its still new, and all of the current movie\tfu could easily fit as place holders. I just want to know where are the TF Prime specific toys? It seems mighty odd for Hasbro to launch a new Network, with a new TF cartoon ,but not give it, its own toy line. I mean are they counting on just the popularity TF brand to carrie the toy, or is that they would have to sacrifice to much show accuracy to make it work. Hasrbo doesn't have to be as salveish to screen design as they did in Animated ,but still. If we were going to get a toy line we'd have seen a proto or two by now |
