Legal rights having been sorted out...
ANGELA will be appearing in the final issue of Age of Ultron, in what is presumably the shocking secret ending Marvel claimed that only eight people knew and that Joey Q himself was drawing to keep secret before they decided it would be okay to just blab it through the New York Times. Yes, that Angela. SPAWN's Angela. SPAWN'S FREAKING ANGELA. Are you kidding me. ARE YOU KIDDING ME WITH THIS http://www.bleedingcool.com/2013/03/21/ang...-of-the-galaxy/ (Not to say that "Gaiman and Bendis to co-write GotG" is not an appealing headline to follow that news with, but JESUS.)

Yo, hey, listen up, 'cause this is worth hearing.
Brian K. Vaughan (writer of RUNAWAYS, Y THE LAST MAN, SAGA) and Marcos Martin (artit of DAREDEVIL, AMAZING SPIDER-MAN) have just this very day brought out the first issue of their new collaboration, THE PRIVATE EYE. Centering on a PI-cum-paparazzo and set in a "future noir" vision of America in it's tricentannial year where usage of the Internet ceased decades ago after it became compromised, it's an around-ten-issue maxi-series availble only in digital format for which YOU NAME YOUR PRICE. It's sold exclusively through the creators' site, and all money goes directly to them. You can download in English, Spanish or Catalan, in PDF, CBR or CBZ. It's 32 pages long, including cover, dedication and editorial (28 story pages), and is designed specifically for viewing on computers - each page is landscape-format, meaning you can view it completely unobstructed and without the need for pesky zooming or scrolling on your laptop, desktop, or sideways-held tablet. Go get it in your life. I rather insist. http://panelsyndicate.com/

No full solicits yet, but courtesy of the IDW board, the TF comics due in May are:
TRANSFORMERS MORE THAN MEETS EYE #17 TRANSFORMERS PRIME BEAST HUNTERS #1 TRANSFORMERS PRIME BEAST HUNTERS #1 SUBSCRIPTION VAR TRANSFORMERS PRIME RAGE O/T DINOBOTS TP TRANSFORMERS REGENERATION ONE #91 TRANSFORMERS REGENERATION ONE TP VOL 02 TRANSFORMERS ROBOTS IN DISGUISE #17 TRANSFORMERS SPOTLIGHT HOIST #1 I think at this point we can safely assume a Generations Trailbreaker retool then, huh? I'm a bit more interested in that Beast Hunters, hadn't heard any hint of that. It's not even listed as #1 of a set number, so that would imply it's not a mini-series... but an ongoing seems sort of unlikely, doesn't it? Maybe it's just a one-shot. Well, full solicits will probably follow later today. EDIT: Full solicits via TFW2005

Well, okay, Spotlight TrailCUTTER, to be fair. No full solicits yet, but Previews has it's listings for IDW's products for April out now, revealing that in addition to the standard books, the fourth Classics UK volume, the 8th IDW HC collection and the third RID trade, everyone's favourite one-trick-pony is getting a Spotlight:
http://www.previewsworld.com/Home/1/1/71/9...rticleID=130245 I guess the trademark-required use of his alternate name is why MTMTE made a point of slipping said name into a few recent issues. I think we can safely assume this'll be a Roberts-penned issue. (Also, I gots me a theory brewin' that the current run of Spotlights are going to be used as pack-in comics for upcoming Generations toys, and the use of -cutter don't go abouts disprovin' me...)

At Bleeding Cool.
A Bumblebee spotlight for this month by Barber and David Daza, and the FoC digital series gets collected in a one-shot. |
