Galvatron in Chaos and IDW

Ok so Issue 24 is out but this topic is about Galvatron. Specifically how IDW are portraying him in their universe. And to be honest its not good.

Firstly let me say Im a massive Galvatron fan. From the very beginning he stood out as a different kind of bot. Marvel UK Galvatron was amazing, Powerful and became virtually unstoppable.

But Galvatron is not that Galvatron in IDW. Hes not Megatron reincarnated. Hes not as insane as he was in Marvel yet in Chaos the Autobots are trying to convince us he is. In Infestation he was cool. Well written. He was poorly written in HOD but again not insane so why are Cliffjumper and Co trying to say he is?

He may become insane but he isnt yet. He hasnt given us any proof that he is. So why are the writers trying to change him? Why?

It does not make sense. Hes a different Galvatron but trying to suddenly change him is not working for me.

Im let down by his portrayal. Hopefully it will get better. But I dont think it will.
