I'm curious here. How I've always understood memes. I always figured that any recurring idea can be a meme. Lets say a toyline keeps using simalir trends or ideas to advertise a set of toys is that not a meme?

Anyways, I don't want to come on here as much as I used to. Or make Threads that involve myself and such.

But, I did go to some doctors, and apparently I do have aspergers. It's a big thing for me. I mean It explains why I couldn't get why I couldn't grow out of tf's when other people did. And, I felt weird and different.

I've never understood that. I get how "Raksha" may have affected that notion.

I mean for me personally. I was always a fan of both factions. But I resonated with the Autobots in terms of values but just felt the Decepticons had the cooler color schemes and toys. Barring Megatron or course because agreeably he was pretty ugly and generic looking.

Anyways, i'm bringing this up for a reason. Part of why I do like the Decepticons is because I think there is no wrong in liking evil stuff in a fictional context. Since, it isn't the same as real life. Beyond that I prefer the Autobots and I don't really sympathize with the cons in terms of motivations. But I do think that understanding why people do violent or bad things is important. Even if they don't deserve sympathy and rightfully deserve the punishment that comes for the consequences for their actions.

I just find it really bothersome that people tend to seem to think liking Decepticons devolves into Raksha is right. Or mutating them into good guys when they clearly aren't. Honestly, most of the Decepticons remind me of bullies I was harassed by as a kid. So much to the point that one actually reminds me of Lstow's Overlord. And really by all rights I should hate Meg's as a character. Because he really reminds me of someone that bullied me in both highschool and elementary school.

I guess for me it was wanting to understand the motivations of evil characters and trying to understand why they would do things I can't picture or comprehend. And, at least getting in terms of their social structure some bad guys are better than other bad guys even if their all jerks. Like the idea that Marvel Shockwave would be who you'd rather go for. Or as much as Cartoon Megatron sucked and Galvatron was a lot more fun. I'd rather be lead by incompetent cartoon meg's even though I'd hate his guts.

I'm just bringing that up to make a point. I mean, I think as a fan I go through phases. I really emotionally resonated with the Autobots as a kid and felt a bit alienated for liking transformers as a kid. So I guess I kind of use the Decepticons to express a begrudged bitterness towards that.

Also, sometimes the shock value of the characters helps to make people realize the importance of morality more than the Autobots do. I mean in Megatron's Master Plan Shawn Berger didn't start to realize how selfish he was. Until Megatron screwed him over.

Im not praising the Decepticons for their competence. Their definately goofy cartoon villains. And, i'm not trying to twist them into heros.

Also, I don't view IDW Megatron or WFC/FOC/Prime Megatron as sympathetic at all. I just view IDW Meg's as understandable as to why he ended up becoming a violent terrorist (to some degree). And, I view Prime Megatron as a misguided, deluded, completely petulant Jackass.

Anyways, I guess my point is theres nothing wrong with the heros despite minor dysfunctionalities that make them humourous and interesting from time to time. Like the dysfunctional relationships between the Maximal's in beast Wars. But, the cons are the ones that theres something completely wrong with them. I guess my point is we take the Autobots for granted and the Decepticons remind us why the Autobots are so important.

Also, I always felt G1 Cartoon Meg's kept causing humans to realize why valuing their planet was so important. The whole Screwing Dr. Arkeville over in the ultimate doom was a lot of fun. I mean the evil and selfish meglomaniacal mad scientist ends up getting punished for allying with another race that holds humanity in contempt. I always liked Ironies like that. And, I guess it always proved the cons do serve a philosophical purpose. But, that dosen't mean I sympathize with their motivations or agree with them. But I don't get why fans tend to view people as being like Raksha in their sentiment. It's always gotten to me.

I know it's a bit much to make a thread about just this but I figured i'd have to.

I really feel that one of the coolest things about Hero Megatron/Archforce. Was the Skull and Crossbones G2 Symbols. And the stickered Chest platelet that said Megatron rules! With some notches for kill counts. Of course Archforce had Megatron rules removed.

But yeah. I can't help but think there's good space on united Tank Megatron for Skull/crossbones con symbols. Abd that it'd be pretty sweet to have him Sport a Megatron rules sticker.

Makes me really wish I knew how to do these. Maybe I can get someone to commission stickers for both 2 pack Meg's and united Megatron/Archforce. Since I feel it would be neat.
