Upcoming Renderform Products

I hope its cool if I make this thread to keep everyone informed of upcoming Renderform products, and whats available for preordering. Especially now that I'm selling through online retailers like BBTS, Captured Prey and AgesThreeAndUp. I seem to have some regular customers from the Allspark, so hope this thread is useful. The next new items are the Metalhawk and Overlord inspired weapons. Full details and preordering at the link below.

I wanted to make some updated weapons for the two characters, that could work with the BotCon 2012 exclusives, as well as other TF figures. I don't like to restrict stand alone weapons I design to a specific figure. So size is usually thrown out the window if it stops me from faithfully creating the design I have in mind. So with that said, some people will like the Hawk Saber, and others will not, based on feedback so far.

Both weapons are limited runs. There are two versions of the Giga Blaster. A standalone version that comes in a dark purple, and a version that is closer to the purple on Gigatron, which is only available in a 2 pack with the Hawk Saber. The Hawk Saber itself is the same version in the two pack and alone. Plus two store exclusive colors. You can order from the online retailers listed in the link, or from Renderform.com directly, if you just want the 2 pack set.

MakeToy Website launch, and Devestator teaser?

Maketoy launched their website. Its all in Japanese.

They have color prototype photos of their minibots, concept art for the G2 Prime armor, and a teaser of a Devastator project?

Also, these guys are not Fansproject. Fansproject just helped out the designer from Maketoy, by bringing their prototypes to Botcon. There was a miscommunication at the TFsource table, where the prototypes were displayed, and people walked away thinking they were Fansproject products.

Each kit comes with a collectors card, numbered out of either 350 (main set) or 100 (basic set), and a mini comic.

I currently have around 30 full kits left from this batch. No more will be made until next year, unless there is enough demand. So get them while they last.

For the Skyfall kits, there are some QC issues to be aware of. Considering all the positive reviews, these seem to be very minor issues to everyone that has bought a kit so far.

TFA Minerva

Hey guys, wanted to share photos of my TFA Minerva custom, for the Sick Kids Charity project over on Cybertron.ca. Minerva was a secret custom, that was unveiled at TFCon this past week. Anyways, as you can see below, there are some issues with the finishing, as she was rushed, with no time to really do much fixing. But I think she turned out pretty good, considering this is my first custom in 5 years. I made a new head and spoiler for her. The spoiler has built in emergency lights. Sadly, I didn't get a chance to shoot photos of her altmode, as I had to ship her out to Toronto to make it in time.
