Needing to unload some stuff to raise some badly-needed funds. So, first of all
My eBay auction list More will be going up, but items going there include a COMPLETE Dinoking set, several 1988 figures including double-Targetmasters Quake, Needlenose, Scoop and Landfill. Cominc shortly will be a handful of BotCon toys, including Dawn of Futures Past. Also, I am basically willing to sell off most of the other stuff over PM. It's almost easier to say what I WON'T sell; I'm keeping Animated, Prime, and probably most of Armada (I am willing to part with various "promotional" Mini-Cons, however). Most everything else, from late G1 (Micromasters and Action Masters) through European G1/G2, Beast Wars through Beast Machines, RID, Energon & Cybertron, the movie lines and the various neo-G1 CHUG whatevers can go. I am holding onto some key pieces who are characters I like, but not all that many. More modern stuff will basically go at original retail to sub-original-retail depending on the item. If anyone is interested, please bid or contact me. It's pretty important for me to raise the money, so thank you in advance. M "Not Enjoying This, But Whaddayagonnado" Sipher

Local Five Below had an endcap of just DOTM Deluxes, including Darksteel. Also found were the last round or two of pre-BH Cyberverse Legions for $3 a whack (Flamewar, Tailgate, Hyperspeed Wheeljack etc), a whole lot of Bot Shots singles and launchers, and the small first-year Optimus & Bee Kreo sets. Add this to the DOTM Human Alliance sets that have been there previously.
They also had a ton of the Walmart-exclusive Star Wars Ep1 3D-glasses wave figs, so if anyone wants that yellow R5 unit for their Queen's Starship crew or cheapish customs, or an army of Gungans, there you go. M "And Yeah. All $5 Or Less. Hence The Name" Sipher

Codes are printed on the top-right of the back of the bag, by “2 in 1” logo. the batch I got all start with “22851” and then have a slightly-separated 2-digit number which tells you who’s in the bag.

Leo's sword-Micron uses the Arc engineering... to create a Micron based on Moon, the rabbit-bot from BEast Wars II. Hollleeeeeeee. NEED. The beetle and hammerbots are pretty damn slick too. Okay, so, we all know the big hook of the TakaraTomy Prime line is the Arms Microns and the retooling done to the larger figures so you can slap said Microns all over 'em. This is called "Arms Up Mode". Each box-back for the larger toys show an "Arms Up Mode" for included figure as a nice example.
Lately -and by "lately" I mean the last several waves of product- these Modes have been not even half-assed. And it's not like they started out terribly complex to begin with. Most of the figures out anymore have "Arms Up Modes" that are nothing more than "X carrying a Combo Weapon". No extra Microns attached to them at all. No nifty two-Micron sub-weapons. Just "holding a weapon". The Breakdown mold has over a DOZEN Micron connection points in robot mode alone, way more than most of the rest of the line, yet his Arms Up Mode is just holding a damn Combo Weapon. Early on, you had Arms Up Modes slathered with Microns. Granted, there weren't enough Microns to really have a lot of Combo Weapon possibilities (operating by the "rules" of combination), but still. For the last three waves of product or so, the only toys I can recall with Arms Up Modes involving adding non-Combo-Weapon-componented Microns directly to their bodies were Darkness Megatron and Arms Master Optimus... and Optimus's was particularly ridiculous because it necessitated four each of RA, OP and B2. I'm just wondering what the hell the deal is. There are a lot of augmentation possibilities with the Arms Microns you can play up on the packaging... yet, they're not. Do they think they don't need to try and sell the play pattern anymore? M "I Need To Drag Everything Out And Do Up My Own Again" Sipher |
