Growing Pains - Marvel Comics Color Scheme

Found this on BBTS:
Growing Pains Custom Kit- Marvel Comic Version

It's a gold repaint of Beelzeboss' previous Goldbug kit, and it's "limited to 200 pieces worldwide." Also includes "electroplated personal defense weapon(s)" ...although in the pics they appear to be merely silver painted, and not plated.

It's just an OK Marvel Goldbug homage (no bug eyes), but IMO makes a super awesome toy-accurate G2 Bumblebee.

A little good fortune shined upon me today...

Hey, so get this: This afternoon I got a Generations Scourge for $5.99.

FIVE DOLLARS AND NINETY NINE CENTS.

Well, 6.99 with a dollar off from a coupon.
But yeah I'm still pretty happy with that. ( ≧ ヮ≦)

Anyways... I found him at my local comic book store misplaced in a bin of Justice League figures (a few boxes over from his proper Transformer home) Scourge was brand new but out of package, sealed in a small plastic bag... which is what the store does with overstock certain "non collector" oriented toy lines to make room.
But of course they usually only do this with older figures and lines, not hard to find Transformers toys. Every other loose Transformer is from Animated (with a few random RotF Robot Replicas too).

BIZARRE. Not complaining though!
And if you're wondering I didn't ask them why it was like that either; I was afraid of somehow losing out on that price! (irrational fear, yay!)
Oh yeah... they also had a couple of Animated Rodimus bagged for the same price. My brother got one... so kudos for him too!

This sorta almost makes up for not seeing Scourge, Kup, and RtS wave 2 in regular stores yet, yep. ALMOST, heh.

WTB: United Jazz, Henkei Skyfire

I'm looking for a United Jazz and a Henkei Skyfire.
They are currently my holy grails... and hard as heck to find for a decent price.

I missed out on getting an open Skyfire last summer for around $25 because of a family beach trip (still kicking myself)... and now there are hardly any left on eBay! Grrr.
And Jazz being sold out caught me completely off guard. It's so similar to the RtS version; I'm surprised people ate it up so fast.

So yeah... out of package figures are fine as long as they're complete and in good condition.

Hmm... it seems that FansProject is making a "new" combiner team in 2011:

Wait, Causailty? Shoudln't that be "Causality", or "Casualty"? Heh.
Oh well, it looks cool so far. Definitely getting a Battle Gaia vibe from the first two members... not so much from their new heads or the silhouettes of the other guys. (not that I'm complaining about new tooling, those heads look rad!)

Color me intrigued.

EDIT: Woah. Are the silhouettes of the Insecticons!?

EDIT AGAIN: As pointed out by Chip, these two are homages to the micromaster Decepticons Growl and Fireshot. (neither of which I owned or knew about, lol)
