So here's an oddity! A friend in Japan was contacted by *his* friend in Japan with the info that Bot Shots have been released there, but only in one store (that he's seen so far). There are six toys out, each with two different packaging variations. Seems like a test market run to see how they'll do at retail there.

So I just opened up Airachnid, and she doesn't seem *quite* as awful as I was expecting, though she's certainly not great. I was very proud of myself for noticing that her toes can point down to make them look much less like feet in copter mode...but what's with those rectangular notches near the front of her weapons?

They're off-center relative to each other, as if they're supposed to connect to either side of a pair of interlocking tabs. The only things I can find that kind of fit are the tabs on the inside of her tailfin halves, but that obviously doesn't work for storage. Has anyone figured it out yet?

"Lonesome George", the last known member of his subspecies of Galapagos giant tortoise, has died of unknown causes.

We were lucky enough to get to see him in person a handful of years ago, and had been following the quest to find him a viable mate. It's really sad to see his long, lonely story end this way.

I've noticed for the past month or so that it's very hard to keep logged in when accessing the boards on an iPhone. It used to keep me logged in between visits, but in the last few weeks, I've not only had to re-log in each time, but sometimes five or six times before it "sticks" and stops listing me as a guest when the login screen pops me back into the main forum. Occasionally switching to a different section and trying again works, but not always.

Any idea what's changed? And can it be changed back? Or is this entirely something on my end of things?
