Three kittens! You're going to have your hands full. Do you have names for them, yet?

we are trying to not name them so we dont get attached.
I also think i may already have a home for at least two. I am pushing for the lady to take all three.

It's funny how many people I see that have their cat play fetch with them. My two would just look at me after I throw something.

"You'd never get a cat to be a servant. You ever see a cat return a stick? "Hey, man! You threw the stick, you go get it yourself! I'm busy! If you wanted the stick so bad, why'd you throw it away in the first place?"

Cats love to play fetch when their young. Once they become physically mature though, they tend to stop wanting to fetch and get that hoity-toity attitude.

So you break out the lazer pointer and spin 'em round till their too dizzy to stand. Alls fair in love and war.

Got two kittens earlier! A gingerish female we are tentatively calling "Ochre" (Oh-ker) and a grey and white one we haven't come up with a name for. Names considered but probably rejected include "Rummage" (my suggestion) and "Poirot" (Pwa-row, like the detective, my mum's suggestion).

Photos will be forthcoming soon.

Earlier this week, I collected the single most expensive fish I have ever owned: an $85 juvenile peacock bass.

He has already learned who brings food, and will come over to the corner of the tank nearest the loveseat to beg for goldfish.

This is what he will be like when full grown: http://i252.photobucket.com/albums/hh17/An.../IMG_1718-1.jpg

I have plans for a 350-400 gallon wall modification once I settle on a home purchase. He will be gaining a few companions once that happens. I'll need a side closet for all the water handling equipment. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon-blitz.gif)

He's already starting to fill in and get better colors already. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon-hotrod.gif)

I had to help a tiny little stray tonight. It was shock gray, and had the look of a russian blue mix, not too far off of my dear little charlene foxtrot. It had a collar, was well fed and friendly as all get out, as well as scared of the cars and completely street unsavvy.

It rubbed, it purred, it let me pick it up and carry it for blocks at a time. I tried a bunch of different house, I was in the right general neighborhood when it suddenly didn't want to follow me and seemed quite content to wander into the bushes and disappear.

Great, now I'm gonna worry about it all fecking night.

If you've been around long enough to remember which one I am, you've probably seen this picture before...

(IMG:http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v440/newsy891/Decepti-chomp.jpg)

...but I had to post it again, because it just sums up the cheeky little thing she was.

Birdie passed today. She was with me for seven and a half of her nine years on earth. It's too quiet around here already.

Sorry to hear about the loss of your cat. I don't think anyone without pets could truly understand just how attached you can get to a pet.

My black and white cat has a new title. Mighty Huntress Ville. She stalked and caught a mouse this morning. I'm so proud of her.

Ironbite-in fact....
