This is great. This is freakin' GREAT.
Though I don't know what to think of an Episode VII. Everyone from the original trilogy is too old, now. It'll probably star, like, Luke's grandkid or something. And I couldn't give a damn about that. But still, it means a less iron-grip on the original stuff that Lucas finds "embarrassing" and tries to keep out of the light. I'd really like to trade up my DVD-R copies of the laserdisk versions of the original trilogy with some finer, official DVDs. I never bought the previous release because, well, they were the exact same thing as my bootlegs. |

They're too old to play young people. So have them play old people. Coming down off my euphoric high of this announcement, I am a bit troubled. Marvel, the Muppets, now Star Wars and Indy...
