That's a much better hammer than I was anticipating.
But I still prefer Hasbro's for the gun mode. -------------------- |

Yeah, that's a nice looking hammer, considering it has to be able to transform into a Micron.

Agreed on both accounts.
Ultra Magnus might get two purchases from me as I love the Hasbro weapon but the Micron Hammer is cool too. I may just skip him entirely though. Randy -------------------- ![]() |

I'm guessing Shockwave's Micron is a Japanese rhinoceros beetle. Neato.

Twenty three bucks for Shockwave? That's only 8 bucks more than the FOC version's retail price...

Now I know what Prime Dead End was screaming for: those orange and green swords! Hasbro's Ratchet has dual blades already, so I know where these Microns are going.

Them Micron sets look purdy.

Man, the Decepticon Micron set colors sure are... underwhelming. A lotta guys going from near-blacks or purples and blues to... dark blues.
Zori's the only one who shifts radically from his original color... to a color not unlike his already-existing AMW release. M "I'll Still GET It, Of Course, But..." Sipher -------------------- The ISLE OF RANGOON - Advantures in Learning and Sarcasm!

Gul barely looks any different.

Well, the stickers are different designs, which I do appreciate. But aside from that... pretty underwhelming.

I'm kinda surprised Shockwave's beetle doesn't turn into an approximation of his show design's cannon.

Shockwave looks like he might be really nice. It's too bad he's an AM toy though. I suppose I could get him and give him the US version's gun...

Not I've not paid much attention to the FOC toys... but I'm pretty sure that the bug turns into the US gun, more or less. If the AM version's gun doesn't take a ridiculous amount of force to remove like the US gun I'd consider upgrading.

The Autobot Microns are pretty meh, generally, compared the awesome awesome beast Microns the 'Cons get. (Especially the rhino and the mantis, but I only need one big Breakdown, so...)
I hope more of those guys get released separately from the main toys, whether singly (a la AMW) or in multi-packs. Extra-hopefully in multiple colors. (Taste the rainbow. TASTE IT.) Psst! Hasbro! Next time you want to bring Mini-Cons back, or if you want to dust off the PCC molds... (In the unlikely event Arms Microns do get released Stateside, I very much doubt they'll be model kits. Not sure how I feel about that.) |
