Sinnertwiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiin! yay, Terrorcon love! Lazorback is totes being repurposed as Flamefeather, Botcon Cindersaur needs his firecon buddies. I think I'll be using him as Birdbrain. He has the outer shell's colors and is a 4-legged lizard-tailed bird monster. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon-hotrod.gif) As for Sinnertwin, I do hope we get a Leaper in the FoC line to keep him company - those things are SOOOO Terrorcon Blots. Exciting Thought 1: Hasbro saying "Stay tuned" about Dinobots in Prime. +One unrevealed Commander and one unrevealed Voyager kept a mystery... Maybeeeee related and something they're keeping to reveal down the line. More likely, they could not say anything about "Not Dinobots, but huge dragons and beasts" without revealing anything. We do know there is a repaint coming fro FoC Grimlock, and I find it unlikely they will want to make Dinobots in Prime at the same time as they have two Dinobots in FoC on the market. That, and with the addition of all the new Predacons, Shockwave, and the CGI changes made to the Prime Autobot characters (I wonder if Prime Prime himself will get crazy DoTM Prime Weapon-Rack-Trailer accessories) the budget of the show is unlikely to be able to accomodate Dinobots. Oh, and 13 episodes only, as well. -------------------- The de-evolution of Optimus Prime:

I skipped to page 16. Sorry if I missed this accusation earlier, but are all these toys with crazy add ons and additional accessories proof that Hasbro overpriced the current line? With the extra kit that the wreckers and now this stuff I think we got less than full value over the last 12 months... X And yes I like a lot of this and will by it..just bitter about "New smaller toys with inflated prices!" It's more likely the fact that the tooling's already done, the cost of said tooling having been covered at least partially by the first release of these toys. It's the same way they were able to splurge with extra paint ops and do the "Premium Edition" of some of the movie toys. I expect it's a little bit of both. These new price points are, well, new, and I wouldn't be surprised if they originally thought they couldn't pack as much value into the price point as it turns out they can. If we've been getting less than full value, I'm not going to complain about an error they're obviously already correcting. -------------------- |

Maybeeeee related and something they're keeping to reveal down the line. More likely, they could not say anything about "Not Dinobots, but huge dragons and beasts" without revealing anything. Well, they kept them purposely secret IN this panel/slides where they revealed the awesome monsters. So no, that doesn't work. Not that it DEFINATELY is Dinobots. There are a number of things they could have wanted secret until later. Down to boring old mad-max Optimus. BUT it's a possibility. -ZacWilliam, no they wouldn't duplicate Grimmy likely, but as with shockwave they might be fine letting the Generations stand in and do a couple other Dinos. I'm trying to like these things, but it's not working. I guess Transformers x Monster Hunter just doesn't do it for me. I want Bumblebee repainted as a Van Helsing-esque Crosswise now! -------------------- |

Nothing for me here. Beasts? Spiky Mad Max vehicles? Energon repaints? Blah. It's fine, I'm glad some of you are excited, but it looks like I'll be hibernating until the Generations line gets past Fall of Cybertron. ^ This. I was really enjoying the realistic vehicles of TFP, and was hoping for more. I wouldn't begrudge the inclusion of beast-modes, but I'm not feeling the dragons and two-headed monsters (the fantasy stuff). This sudden shake-up reminds me of the stark contrast between the (then) present-day setting of G1 seasons 1 and 2 and the sci-fi fantasy setting of G1 season 3. You mean the realistic vehicles mode's we've been getting for the past six years? Nope, just the ones from the TFP line. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon-arcee.gif) |

Repaints of Bumblebee and Wheeljack could be incredible. I kinda wish they had held off on Dead End now. That head sculpt on this body? And the same toxic bright color scheme? That would be insanely bad-ass. That's what we have our friend Cheets for. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/ninjacheets.gif) -------------------- ![]() |

How come Red Guy has a different insignia?

I'm definitely in for Omega Supreme, this is a repaint I've been wanting for years. And, based on the packaging mock-up, he'll be released without Fatimus, and possibly without electronics, so should be under $100, maybe around the same price as Amazon Unicron. Twinstrike is a must, Bulkhead is a maybe. I can probably pass on everything else. Is the blue and yellow Smokescreen an homage to somebody? He looks vaguely Nightbeatish, and I can't think of a TF with the number 7 on it's doors. Wal-Mart Sideswipe maybe? Which itself is a nod to Gobots Sideswipe. The only other thing I can think of is Armada Side Swipe, Slapdash, or Punch. Wait, what? Are we serious? Have we forgotten 2003 already? I was about to say... -------------------- |

I must have missed it somewhere, but are Mad Max Bumblebee, Viking Bulkhead, etc. toy-only redesigns or are they actually going to look like that in the show? Do we know one way or the other yet?

Is Omega Supreme the G1 character or the Aligned? Well, his cannon is based on WfC, so I'd say Aligned. -------------------- ![]() |

Though, there's still the possibility of him being G1 (what with his partner Optimus toy being G1-based), so we'll just have to wait for the toy bio to tell us either way.

. "Critics who treat 'adult' as a term of approval, instead of as a merely descriptive term, cannot be adult themselves. To be concerned about being grown up, to admire the grown up because it is grown up, to blush at the suspicion of being childish; these things are the marks of childhood and adolescence. And in childhood and adolescence they are, in moderation, healthy symptoms. Young things ought to want to grow. But to carry on into middle life or even into early manhood this concern about being adult is a mark of really arrested development. When I was ten, I read fairy tales in secret and would have been ashamed if I had been found doing so. Now that I am fifty I read them openly. When I became a man I put away childish things, including the fear of childishness and the desire to be very grown up." -- C.S. Lewis |

Considering he looks pretty much the same either way I don't really think it matters. It's just an Omega Supreme.
