As far as Con Targetmasters are concerned, I'd rather have a Misfire before Triggerhappy. Proof of concept digibash. Photo I took of FoC Shockwave wearing a Botcon Punch head. -------------------- Reclaim the suffix. ![]() |

I had the original Misfire, And I would Adore him out of the shockwave mold.
Howeverrrrrrrrr.... There's one tiny flaw... Misfire has a rather obvious case of the fuschia, or as it's known by Hasbro: "Girly color kills boys sales disease" So their natural instinct would be to make him a shade darker, which would be purple, and then we're back to shockwave. |

Yeah, IF he were to happen, he would have to be a Botcon or subscription club guy.

Yeah, and as much as I want Triggerhappy I'm sure he'd be a Botcon toy instead of retail.

I really like those colors on both of them - too bad we'll never see them in the actual releases. The Seeker looks like Acid Storm sat too long in the hangar and got really rusty... and in Kickback's case it actually kind of looks like he bathed in blood a really long time ago.
I am officially ~very eager~ to get these molds. This post has been edited by BlackMax: Oct 11 2012, 03:54 AM -------------------- "It's not that I like the Decepticons, I think they're thugs. I'm just sayin' that when the slag hits the fan, I'm stayin' out of their way."

Huh, that test shot has changed my opinion of Kickback. He looks pretty great there. I really like his hands.

That color scheme on Starscream seems so familiar somehow...
Flywheels? Well, not so much... but I'm sure I've seen it before. --LBD "Nytetrayn" -------------------- |

Looking towards the ground and hoping no one notices your robot-mode face never goes out of style.

I had the original Misfire, And I would Adore him out of the shockwave mold. To me, Misfire's awesome, unique jet mode is the only important element of his design. I'd need a new mold. -------------------- |

Kickback's owner says the robot mode is great, but the bug is nearly immobile. So that sucks.

I'm going to be that one guy who is more or less totally uninterested in this Starscream. It does nothing for me. And it looks chunky.
NO FAT BOTS Kickback is secks though. |

Kickback is looking better to me in robot mode, but the grasshopper mode is horrible. The original's transformation was simple but very effective for back-in-the-day.

I think the locust mode looks fine, but it is disappointing to hear of its limitations. I am more impressed with the toy know that I can clearly deduce the transformation. Also, the colors make me think of a G2 Deluxe Insection (if there were such a thing).
