Hear that, Randy? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon-hotrod.gif) Oh God this is going to suck as my massive erection isn't going to go away and I have a work meeting in less than 30 minutes. This is heavenly. Everyone of them is more cartoon accurate. Starscream looks similar to the Henkei with slightly different details. Thundercracker is similar to Starscream but probably a bit closer to the Henkei. Skywarp has purple cannons and shoulders. Ramjet has gray fists, white forearms, and gray upper legs. Dirge has gray fists, gray forearms, and gray upper legs & waist. Thrust has gray fists, gray forearms, and red waist & upper legs. This is going to be expensive but I need like 3 of them at the least. This just made the count of Classics Seekers go from 20 to 26 in one fell swoop. I'm going to need a much bigger display to show them off. Randy -------------------- ![]() |

Yeah Hasbro / TakaraTomy Asia or whatever they are, is really trying to get everything that any fan could have possibly wished for as one of their exclusives.
People have been asking for a Henkei Ultra Magnus for years, people wanted another Buster Optimus level paint job on an Optimus so they do the Striker one in that paint job. People wanted a more G1 Bruticus Maximus (even if it's redundant at this point) so they took the Universe/RotF one a few steps further. There was a lot of demand for RotF Leader Megatron so they're releasing a new one. Now this Seeker set with more cartoon accurate decos ALL IN THE SAME FRICKIN' BOX!!! http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=290...e=1&theater Transformers Asia is hinting a Classics Seekers set. I'll be honest this is really boring to me. I realize it's because I already have all those guys from that mold. Take that picture and throw it into a color randomizer. So every picture is given a new and different colorscheme as a new character (Ok Starscream can be Sunstorm) and WOO I 'd be super, super excited! But the same guys again, though I like the mold, I'm honestly falling asleep here. -ZacWilliam, what I'm saying is, for me 6 new Character Classic Seekers = liscensed to print money. But I'm weird that way. This post has been edited by ZacWilliam1: Oct 4 2012, 07:24 AM -------------------- Ever wonder about the speed of Turbofoxes?

6 new guys would be great too, but this is made to appeal to those who weren't able to buy all 6 over the 5 years they were released in the US or all 6 in Japan (where 4 were store exclusives and 2 had terrible quality control).
Finally Skywarp gets a third release, all the others had at least 3 (if not 4) releases between Hasbro, TakaraTomy, and Fun Publications. Randy -------------------- ![]() |

Yes, it's going to be awesome. Like Games of Deception to the Extreme!!!! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon-fire.gif)
Hopefully each are different enough. It seems at least 4 of them are considerably different. Also hopefully the mold isn't mush by then. Randy -------------------- ![]() |

It's quite nice for those that already don't have a set. For me, I'm good to go.

That's actually going to end up looking like a really nice set for those that don't already have them.
I'm more and more impressed with Hasbro Asia. |

Yeah, I know this is not for me who got the first release of each of these guys and so has had the whole set for a decently long time now.
Still, the idea of six (6!) new named Seekers characters is so damn awesome to me allow me to dream for a minute: In my dream universe they would hire either Bob Budainsky or James Roberts to create 6 all new Seeker team members from scratch. Because, we're dreaming so why not. That's first choice. Closer to reality Takara has been on a kick where I could easily see them take 6 obscure Seekers and toy them guys up: 1) I'd get the Santon in the room out of the way first and do Starscream as Sunstorm. 2) Skywarp I'd do as that Lavender guy with the Flamethrower and backpack from Sunstorm's team. Because Lavender Seekers are in the toon a lot and should have a toy, and because I've always wanted a Seeker with that weapon. 3) Thundercracker as Black Death based on the G2 Seeker. Make him all black with white highlights and big white pirate skull and crossbones decos. (Bonus, he can go with The Star Seekers.) 4) Ramjet I'd do in a desert camo scheme as SandSerpent (Based on the G2 Sandstorm repaint but without stealing the Autobot's name). 5) Thrust can be Nacelle, Starscream's 1st officer from the Exodus novel. Do him in bright crimson maybe? 6) And make Dirge either Hotlink or Bitstream the two tech support geek Seekers from Exodus. Givem some kind of unique techy look. Hologram stickers? Anyway that was fun to think about. Those are the kind of Seeker sets that would have me jumping up and down to spend money. -ZacWilliam, wherefore art thou E-Hobby? I'd like to see them all with the chromed interior cockpits.
Totally unrealistic, but it really makes them pop. *i normally dislike chrome |

I'd be more interested if this included characters that were never made with the Classics mold before. Sunstorm anyone?

That's one thing that I'm going to like about these, no random chrome. I liked most of the chrome used in Henkei! Henkei! But not on the Seekers (sans Ramjet who didn't have it on his launchers).
