It's kind of a sucky day to have this panel as only those who have a 4-day pass/pro badge will be able to attend.

I have a pro badge but even still I'll probably skip this b/c with the show just opening 45 mins. prior the first thing I plan to do won't be going to a panel.

Oh well. :-/

Well, that answers our question from the other thread. Least this means that if at least one canny fan attends we should probably learn at least somehing about Beast Hunters/season 3 and 4.

-ZacWilliam, wonder if that means there could be an exclusive again... Though the last one lingers still so maybe not.

So Hasbro's bringing back First Editions and porting over the Asia exclusives, but we're still gonna be petty about four same-character redecoes.

I think people are still upset about movie Wheeljack and Soundwave right? Those aren't redecos. The only one I wanted was the white Ratchet redeco and I got over that pretty quickly.

I'm not sure what you're getting at here. Now that they're the titles of comic books, should Hasbro stop using the two biggest catchphrases of the brand? Is there a problem with IDW capitalizing on those phrases for their comic titles?

I'm not following what you're saying. Will you not be getting into New York until a bit late & not want this panel to be the first thing you do? Because from the looks of things, everything kicks off at noon.

I'll be going, but I'd hate to be the the Allspark's resource for news. I take bad notes & my camera is kinda not entirely functional (battery dies really quickly these days). Even then, I couldn't upload anything until well after the con.

I suppose I could nab pics with my cell phone camera, & send those via email. But the write up wouldn't be till later.

Of course, I'm staying at the Yotel, which is less than a 2 minute walk away, so it wouldn't be that long a wait.

Still, I would not recommend that I be a goto reporter, but if nobody else is going, I'd be willing.

Oh, & if you are going to NYCC i'd recommend you visit the Yotel & nab this stuff. Both bottles are $15 (unless the price has changed) & feel absolutely amazing. (it's body wash, if you can't be bothered to check the link. Yotel has their own unique blends.)

Per the NYCC website:

When Is New York Comic Con?

Show Floor Hours
Thursday, October 11, 2012 – 3:00 PM – 9:00 PM
Only open to Press, Professionals, VIPS and fans that purchase a 4-Day Pass.

Does this make things clearer?

This show will only have been open for 45 mins. and I, personally, will have more pressing engagments at that time than to go to this panel.

If it was later on Thurs. or any other day of the convention I would do my best to attend but alas... :-/

Movie Trilogy/All-Stars was five known toys:

1) Optimus with trailer, which was released
2) another Bumblebee
3) white Wheeljack with the G1ish head
4) white Ratchet
5) black Soundwave.

Yes & no.

Per Thusday's schedule, there's this panel that starts off at 12:00 noon.

Which just confuses me about the 3:00pm start up time. Which either means, you can get in, but not shop before 3:00, or maybe that 3:00 time is from last year & the website hasn't been updated to reflect this. Or I suppose they could have panels not for the public, but it seems weird.

Or am I wrong about something?

:-]

There are panels specifically for educators, retailers, and industry professionals only.

Wow, ""More Than Meets The Eye reveals" is hella clunky.

-ZacWilliam, wonder if that means there could be an exclusive again... Though the last one lingers still so maybe not.

If they did, it'd be cool if it came with the Silas and MECH figures from that second entertainment pack.

Then again, Silas sporting an "I heart NY" T-shirt would probably dispel his menace a little.
