Those RiD and MTMTE covers are pretty damn awesome--love seeing so much of the LL crew there, and Bumblebee leading a bunch of Autobots into battle! It sounds like Megatron's the big threat in RiD #12, but I dunno... I feel like it'll turn out to be someone else. And the biggest surprise here: the return of the Transformers Spotlights! Wow! Really hope they're back on a regular basis, and this isn't just a one-shot special. -------------------- ![]() |

QUOTE The fallout from the devastation on Earth ripples outwards, all the way to Nebulos, where GRIMLOCK faces his own darkest demons and a fateful choice that may cost him his very Spark. Regeneration One is having a slow start. I feel like less is happening per issue in Regeneration One than it did during the 80s Marvel comics. Now I've seen the cover, I am wondering about why Scorponok is leading the Dinobots into battle. Has Grimlock merged with Scorponok? This post has been edited by Bass X0: Sep 17 2012, 03:01 PM |

I would read the everloving snot out of more stuff from Roberts about Orion Pax. He's done more to convince me I should care about IDW Optimus Prime than any other writer. Shadowplay is a great idea, and so is this.

Ugh, Scorponok. Really unexcited to see him after his storyline ended perfectly in #75.

In other news: Yay, more Roberts! I think I especially like that the art seems to indicate this is the Orion Pax we saw in Blurr's spotlight issue. I do kind of want to see that reconciled.

QUOTE Ugh, Scorponok. Really unexcited to see him after his storyline ended perfectly in #75. They're saying all Headmasters have their original heads left on Nebulos. Zarak's story ended in #75, but Scorponok's did not. You must remember Zarak continually referencing "the real Scorponok". This is him. http://graphicpolicy.files.wordpress.com/2...w=450&h=684 Can anyone name all those Transformers? I got most but I think some are newly created characters for MTMTE. Are we to infer that the compete Drift 'saga' is the highlight of IDW after LSOTW?
That's just sad. |

Are we to infer that the compete Drift 'saga' is the highlight of IDW after LSOTW? I think it's more that... Drift's kind of likeable now, and folks need a good centralized place to know about the Circle of Light and how he joined the Autobots. That's just sad. -------------------- ![]() |

Proof Roberts can do anything (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon-silverbolt.gif) Only reason I bought United Drift was because of MTMTE. -------------------- ![]() |

I thought they were just after more standalone stuff to collect, after the LSOTW Hardcover. They don't have much to choose from. Pretty much nothing else. |

That Arcee cover...I must own it. Yeah, I've been liking Barber's rehab of Arcee. She's still not "good" by any stretch of the imagination, but she's got some dimension now.-------------------- ![]() |

That Arcee cover...I must own it. The RiDW #12 RI cover? Honestly, it gave me a "WTF" moment when I saw it on my phone. Less so at full-size, but while it's well-drawn, it's... odd. |

Sgt. Roddy's Lonely Hearts Club is the Best. Thing. Ever. I love how Ore is in there - half of him, anyway. And is that Dipstick above Whirl and Perceptor?
MTMTE #12 may be the comic I've anticipated the most ever. This post has been edited by Master Fwiffo: Sep 17 2012, 07:03 PM -------------------- |

Okay, I can ID just about everyone on the MTMTE #12 cover, except:
-The two guys under Powerglide, blue and gold (Siren and Sandstorm?) -Green guy over Whirl's left shoulder -Masked blue guy above him -------------------- |
