I do kinda wanna know why SG Eject and Rewind stole SG Laserbeak and Buzzsaw's colors, though. Probably a coincidence as the guy coming out of Blaster's chest is based on Rumble (apparently the canceled G2 Rumble). I guess SG Rosanna finally has a counterpart, then? -------------------- |

Definitely seems like a connection. I do like that Rosanna has two skulls on her arm, it makes me think of Marissa Faireborne's skulls. Randy -------------------- ![]() |

Shattered glass is not my thing at all. I'm pretty disappointed by this, here's hoping this partnership leads to more interesting things in the future. I want to see things we wouldn't normally have access to, not things I feel like the Club could do next year if they want.

Here's a question: What part does Hasbro have in all this? I don't see their logo anywhere. Or will we get another announcement from the Club later (with Hasbro branding)?

Really aren't any eHobby exclusives at the moment When has Fun Publications ever redecoed a G1 mold on their own? This set likely exists as a joint exclusive because it ISN'T something FP could have produced without the help of e-HOBBY. All those figures with die-cast parts? I mean, the costs there alone... Plus, having two markets for sales means that more total sets can be made, bringing down the cost per unit (well, in theory) and giving both sides more leveraging power with the factories, who we know are loathe to do small production runs. Now, I'm not super-fond of the Sonic White scheme - my dream redeco is Soundwave in Marvel Comics colors - but I feel confident in my estimation that there's no way this set would've happened without the new FP/e-HOBBY joint venture. Marvel colors Soundwave would be good. But they did all other existing color schemes for the Blaster mold except for Shattered Glass. Rewind, Eject and Ramhorn have have not appeared in Shattered Glass so they have new color schemes based on obscure sources. This post has been edited by Bass X0: Sep 2 2012, 04:20 AM |

Blaster's colour scheme really reminds me of his Kabaya kit I got years ago.
I'd love the following G1 repaints with head remolds where appropriate: Prowl - Movie Barricade Jazz - Kick Off, Axer, Dead End, Nightbeat Sideswipe - Hot Rod, Breakdown, Sunstreaker Tracks - Freeway, Runamuck, Runabout Optimus Prime - Overload Seeker mold - Acid Storm, slag it all the Seekers with properly painted faces and optics like WSTF Starscream and Thrust Wheeljack - Slicer, Downshift Machine Wars Mirage - Dragstrip, Crasher, G2 Double Clutch |

I could totally go for an eHobby G1 Slicer, but for that matter I could totally go for a reissue Wheeljack. Not seeming to happen.

You're acting as though these are TCC figures. And that eHOBBY's only involvement is that they will be releasing in Japan. (Unless I'm misreading your posts.) Let me assure you, this IS an eHOBBY release. Strongly collaborated with the TCC as far as colors, characters and fiction go, but an eHOBBY release nonetheless. Which is why, as some have already noticed, it has the Takara Tomy logo on it rather than a Hasbro logo. The TCC offering them outside of Japan is just... exactly what you say in your last sentence. Part of the partnership. -------------------- |

I'd love the following G1 repaints with head remolds where appropriate: Prowl - Movie Barricade I'd love pretty much any G1 repaints if the prices could be kept reasonable. Specifically, the idea of a fourth color scheme for the Prowl mold makes me drool. Since we're talking Club collaborations, how about the Smokescreen version as G2 Rapido? |

Mexican Policia. I'd call that more as a varient. Now to see that very iconic G1 mold done up full Decepticons, THAT would be interesting. I'd definately buy it as Barricade. Extra points for new 84-style chrome buzzsaw weapons. -ZacWilliam, and if you pack in a recollor of G1 Frenzy as a partner even cooler. -------------------- Ever wonder about the speed of Turbofoxes?

If they ever did a G1 Barricade, I'd want one that didn't look a thing like Prowl.
Come on Police Sunstreaker. -------------------- ![]() |

If they ever did a G1 Barricade, I'd want one that didn't look a thing like Prowl. Come on Police Sunstreaker. I'd love to see Police Sunstreaker used, but as a new guy, not Barricade. Movie Barricade does have a similar design to Prowl already, just Movie-ized a lot. And there's already been a Barricade/Prowl mold share (The Bot Shot) so I'd really stick to that. The colors are very different between the two. That + different weapons + maybe different head is just the right ballance of appropriate similarities/differences for me. -ZacWilliam, the white deco on Police Sunstreaker really says new guy to me, and I really like the concept of all the unused Diaclone decos being their own new characters. -------------------- Ever wonder about the speed of Turbofoxes?

Mexican Prowl with black paint added to the white to blend in the panels. I would buy that under the name "Barricade".
Otherwise, I'm not sure how interested I'd be in a G1 Barricade. -------------------- |

Just with 20% extra black and translated police markings. An impressive major varient but a varient nonetheless. -ZacWilliam, when messured against Bluestreak and Smokescreen certainly. -------------------- Ever wonder about the speed of Turbofoxes?
