Man, those Sourcebooks really hurt Beast Wars. Can we get a do-over?

That would be great!

Because it would mean even more Beast Wars!

Makes me wish we had finished that old Allspark organized, BW Sourcebook.

Eeee, I hope the robot antenna don't scratch when you pull them out of the helmet. That looks like paint.

It shouldn't be paint according to the plastic layout.

Yeah they're the same color as the shoulders, so it shouldn't be a problem.

MAN is that guy PRETTY! I love that he has chrome! Couple that with the awesome Magnus colored head and that blue, clear blue, red, and white paint scheme. I'm in Love! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon-silverbolt.gif)

I'm not sure he has chrome...

Looks like silver paint with black paint filling in the details. It sure gives the illusion of shadows being cast on chrome, but I don't think that's what's actually going on.

Ah I see. The matrix is probably just silver paint then?

Hard to say. We can't really see it too well through the plastic. It was chrome on earlier pictures, but those were mockups not production samples.

I kinda wish the missile pods were painted, same for some details on the gun.

God damn it I want this toy so bad.

Yeah, I'm kind of torn between not feeling like I really need this in my collection, and thinking it this is a redeco idea that has been floating around for awhile and came out really nicely. Plus, we just don't GET beasts these days much.

Of course, if I'm interested in more than one of the subscription toy ideas, it really makes more sense to sign up than to order anything individually from an online vendor...

He is really pretty.

It's not quite enough to make me go for him against the price AND the fact that I already have two of that mold and it is HUGELY ANNOYING to transform. Ugh the panelforming.

-ZacWilliam, still, he's so pretty I can almsot forget the kibble and transforming frustration. I'd love to have it on a shelf to look at.

Cool., Big Convoy gets a second repaint here in the States, and it's a Beast Wars incarnation of good old Ultra Magnus.

I wonder if Stampy will be a TFCC exclusive in the near future?

And they stopped when it became apparent that they cost about the same as Deluxes to produce, so why do smaller toys for the same cost. And that was 2007, a half decade ago.
