From my gist - Buster, Hydra, or Spengs can correct me - it's going to be a manga on being a new way of telling TF, although if it's G1 is up in the air (considering they have the preceding "Super Robot Lifeform" that was prominent in the earlier Japanese materials). The "28" on the right side of the ad is basically "from creation of 28 years ago"-ish.

I demand more fiddly in-between continuity-bridging G1-Japanese-universe stories.

That's an overgeneralization! Most Transformers spark, but you can't say with certainty that they all spark.

Yep, looks to be a new G1 manga. The stuff on the left in the pic says along the lines of "and now, a new Transformers portrayal". I don't see any details beyond that, I'm guessing it won't be too mature since it's in Kero Kero Ace but I don't think it'll be kiddy fare either. Should be good coming from Tsushima-sensei.

Weird that they aren't going for a Prime manga.
Wasn't the Comics Bun Bun "Henkei! Henkei!" manga already Tsushima's attempt at doing G1 over again? I never read it, myself. Still, it's always good to see more Tsushima work. -------------------- Hey, check out one of my sites!

I'm interested. Though my expectations are neither high or low. I'm just interested in new manga.

Not really much you can say from the teaser, although Prime's design would have you assume it's going to use the original designs.
We'd be luckiest to get something along the lines of Stargate Battles, although KeroKero is probably too young for anything that sophisticated. -Hydra -------------------- |

Well this was unexpected. What sort of story will this entail? Will it be part of the greater Japanese G1 cartoon continuity, or be its own thing like a few manga series have been? What's the meaning of the "All Spark" part of the title? For how long will it run? Why are they making this amid a slew of other existing series whose stories are still being told? So many questions.

. "Critics who treat 'adult' as a term of approval, instead of as a merely descriptive term, cannot be adult themselves. To be concerned about being grown up, to admire the grown up because it is grown up, to blush at the suspicion of being childish; these things are the marks of childhood and adolescence. And in childhood and adolescence they are, in moderation, healthy symptoms. Young things ought to want to grow. But to carry on into middle life or even into early manhood this concern about being adult is a mark of really arrested development. When I was ten, I read fairy tales in secret and would have been ashamed if I had been found doing so. Now that I am fifty I read them openly. When I became a man I put away childish things, including the fear of childishness and the desire to be very grown up." -- C.S. Lewis |

Why is there a space between "ALL" and "SPARK"? Someone picked up that it was two English words and didn't realize they were supposed to be mashed together, I'd imagine. -------------------- |

Or Takara stipulated to Tsushima-sensei to do it as two separate words. -------------------- ![]() My works! Lemme show you 'em! Well, the in-move subtitles for the first live-action film do parse it as one word, but that eventually fell by the wayside. Could just be resurging here. It's probably a better way of distinguishing it from the "afterlife dimension" of the same name than the current method of using CamelCase.
