Wow, I hope that's real. Although, how big would a 1/24 scale tank really be? I mean, that's gotta be pretty big. Masterpiece Convoy is barely 30 cm tall, and that pages says Megatron is 40 cm tall. WOW. BIG tank...

No way it can be an alt at 1/24 scale. It'll be too big. MP perhaps but not Alt. Really cool though if it becomes a toy in any of the line. You can see they tried very hard to make the bot mode resemble G1.

At 1/24 (and by the wording, I'd say that's the guy's GUESS) this tank would be 16 1/8 inches long. That's... substantially larger than an Alternator.
I'm gonna call this fan art until I see a reason not to. Boner-inducing fan art, but fan art nonetheless. -------------------- |

I highly doubt it's real. It's watermarked SAGE2764, which leads me to believe it's probably his/her work. Pretty to look at, though, and make me wish Classics Megatron WAS a tank.

I think it's too technically detailed for your average fan-work. It even shows how the feet collapse into the legs. Plus if it was a fan-work, they would have almost certainly made him grey, not tan. -------------------- |

"Vehicle deco as per Abrams reference page." In other words, he's making it tan because you can find an Abrams in that color. A dedicated fan work would try to make sure it had a realistic color scheme, not just making it gray so Megatron would be gray in robot mode.
Also, I went into similar detail for Tribarrel, and I'm not a draftsman. There's plenty of fans out there with the skills to pull off such a set of plans, and the dedication to do it. ---Dave, does think it's nifty, tho. --------------------
