If I recall it was announced back in FEb that Encore sixshot was to be released July 2012, obviously that will not be happening as preorders haven't even been put up yet. Have some interest in purchasing but am more concerned with the continuation of the line, still wanna see Ultra magnus and a thrust/ramjet/dirge 3 pack, maybe even trypticon (One can hope)

Rumors and even a pre-order have just recently popped back up in the last week or so.

Pre-Order

Which fits Kapow Toys' information as well:

QUOTE
It is not part of the Encore line and will come with chrome parts and exclusive premium packaging. The retail price is expected to be around $150 - $160 each.

There was just a post here or at tfw2005 that talked about. I think 125 was the going price. Honestly, thats to much. I want to say i paid 90 a few years ago for one. Should still be able to find one on ebay for around that and save yourself 25 bucks or so. Personally i wish we could get a greatshot reissue from the mold.

It's interesting the way they are spicing up reissues nowadays. I don't think I'll bite on a metallic Sixshot. I have Sixshot and he's a glorious G1 toy, but not so glorious that I need a pair of them.

I'd say this was nice for the people who didn't have one, but far $184 they could get one today on eBay, I think.

I was interested until I saw chromed guns. Then I saw the price tag. No thanks.

I like the sound of the changes, both sound great, but the price is ridiculous. I'll buy it (as I've gotten every other reissue) but I'm going to have to shop around.

I'm sure Ebay will be flooded with these just like the metallic Predaking ended up doing once released, so prices may lower a bit.

Click on the photos in the link below to enlarge them:

"Chrome guns" Sixshot reissue on HK-TF

That is one HUGE box! But it doesn't appear to be leather. So some chrome and metallic paint make this Sixshot twice as expensive as the original reissue when it first came out, yikes!

Apparently they deleted the thread for some reason. But here's the direct link to the photos, scroll left and right to view all modes and the box:

Hurry before these are removed too. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon-hotrod.gif)

Bitter now and forever that I passed on the 2001 Reissue Sixshot while it was languishing at all the dealers for years for $30.
