Nice. Looks good, and I'm happy that there's at least some differences for robot mode.

Wheels on shoulder = G2 Sideswipe.

+ New head and light bar, yes?

I was expecting the light bar to be sitting on panels that could be rotated and form his robot mode spoiler. Drat.

For some reason I'm more excited about Red Alert than Sideswipe.

I never liked the character more, but there was something about the car mode and the cartoon colors I can't resist.

Still has cheap plastic wheels. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon-screamer.gif)

How is it that we put man on the moon before we figured out it would be a good idea to put wheels on luggage?

I kinda wish Red's chest and torso could transform differently so he didn't have the abs.

Now... I know that MP Prime used a fake grill for transformation, but the fake wheels on Red Alert's shoulders bother me. I know, cartoon accuracy and all that, but they're not even in scale with the ones on his legs. It's like he just has tiny tires on his shoulders.

Yeah, I would have preferred them to be "tread"-less wheel-like greebles rather than "actual" wheels. Sort of like how the animation model for Hot Rod treated the wheels on his shoulders.

Personally I don't mind the "wheels" on his shoulder but then again faux parts don't bother me too much if they're within reason. Anyway I like Red but he's still my least favorite of the three...I'm still getting him of course. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon-hotrod.gif)

Well wouldn't the fake wheels better lend themselves for spikes on shoulders? Looking at the vehicle mode... it doesn't look like there's much clearance for spikes.

Unless they put in a turning mechanism where you turn that wheel and spikes pop out. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon-fire.gif)

But not strong man abs. They look ok on Sideswipe, but so out of place on Red Alert.

Hee hee hee. He even has the little nubs on his collarbone that Dery took from the toy, the ones Sideswipe's model never had and his MP toy doesn't.

Love. I wasn't really liking sideswipe, but I am all over this one. The subtle changes they made are fantastic too.
