I admit I like that color on Bruticus but I'm more inclined to go with retail, simply because of ALL that gold plastic. In theory that problem's been taken care of with modern plastic, but I still like to avoid it if I can.

PLEASE let the Bruticus and Cliffjumper sets also be sold on Hasbro Toy Shop. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon-trant.gif)

"Critics who treat 'adult' as a term of approval, instead of as a merely descriptive term, cannot be adult themselves. To be concerned about being grown up, to admire the grown up because it is grown up, to blush at the suspicion of being childish; these things are the marks of childhood and adolescence. And in childhood and adolescence they are, in moderation, healthy symptoms. Young things ought to want to grow. But to carry on into middle life or even into early manhood this concern about being adult is a mark of really arrested development. When I was ten, I read fairy tales in secret and would have been ashamed if I had been found doing so. Now that I am fifty I read them openly. When I became a man I put away childish things, including the fear of childishness and the desire to be very grown up." -- C.S. Lewis

Hasbro always puts their stuff up on HTS. The only question is how many they have and how fast they sell.

Oh, and there's an exclusive Play Arts Kai repaints of Batman and Joker:

Does Maria Hill have GI Joe style hip joints rather than either style of Marvel joints?

I have no need or room for a 4-ft Helicarrier, but I do kinda want that figure of her...

No idea. There will probably be better pictures as the con approaches, we might be able to tell then.

Edit:
Found a better picture, not sure:

Yeah, looks to the Marvel Universe style hips with a swivel above the knee.

I was kinda hoping that they started using the GI Joe construction for the legs, since while I prefer the Marvel Universe hips to the Marvel movie hips, the one part socket can easily be misshapen and cause the leg to pop off.

Yeah, Joes do tend to have the best joint designs. For whatever reason, they don't want to use them much in other lines.

I'm kind of wondering what all of the little slots and hatches are for. Is it designed specifically to carry one of the Avengers toy jets?

So, Jem still lives?

I approve. At least Jem is better than Hannah Montana.
