And with every pic of these Data Disks and their clear plastic cases the more ecstatic I become.
They're just the PERFECT fusion of Recordicons and Bakugan. Even the clear plastic cases fill me with nostalgic joy. The toy store near me in 84-85 imported single versions of the cassettes with their own plastic cases.

I'm very likely to get the Soundblaster repaint and use it as a base for Database, Even can make Mainframe and Hard Drive from Laserbeak and Rumble. Glitch however can't be made since there is no mouse/rat cassette...

I love that Soundwave's gimmick, that's something I've wanted since the rumored Armada Soundbyte back in the day (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon-silverbolt.gif) .

That SDCC Bruticus look good too. I really hope they produce enough of them this year, otherwise we're going to have a bitchfest on the scale of Botcon Classics Seekers (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon-wildride.gif) .

The new pics of Bruticus have sold me on him. He just looked so spindly in the previous pictures, but in the ones from Botcon he looks more solid..I dig.

Q: scout frenzy/rumble? A: have the mold, but no plans

I just don't understand this, can someone help me too, they made the molds, Takara sold them already they have to want to make money back for making them, why can't they just say Okay this wave will include these guys, and stick them in a future wave?

The Animated molds I can understand better because of their unique look, but not Rumble and Frenzy.

Dead size class+redundant character release=bye-bye non-Japanese release.

Plus as was stated when TakaraTomy released Wingblade Prime, Blackout, and Hydrodive Bumblebee, a Japanese release counts as making their money back on the production costs. Apparently.

And nobody asked about Unicron or the Jet Vehicon? Really? 'Guess they might be Japanese-exclusive after all.

So they already made back what it cost to make them okay, and I did forget that the Scout class was retired although I don't see why a two-pack is completely out of the question. Thanks.

I'm also very surprised nobody asked about Unicron, or that Hasbro themselves didn't mention him.

VOyager Soundwave is just a larger version of Deluxe WFC Soundwave with added gimicks? Also, Laserbeak turns into a wheel?

It's a larger version of the WfC design but a whole new toy. It holds Data Disks and launches them. That's what the Tapes now becoeme - Data Disks. They're spring loaded to pop into bot mode when launched. Sounds like they're doing a bunch (at least 6) of them.

And then make new Recordicons! They look so much better then what I was imagining.

Soundwave and Kickback look great, I'm expecting a lot of people using him to stand in for Prime's Insecticon if they don't make a toy.

Hmm. Another light year for me.

Seriously, Firefight and Kickback both appeal to me, but the rest? Skippable. I'm not complaining, mind, and I expect we'll get more reveals soon, but still, right now, not much of this selection is calling to me.
