Is Slipstream first edition? Anyone know right off how big that makes her next to Animated Starscream?

I was wounder how tall she would be compared to Classics and Friends Seekers.

The answer to both of your questions can be found here. Scroll down for the size comparisons.

Cool, now I know this can't be answered at the moment, but I wonder how big the FoC Starscream will be, I'd be happy if it's in-between the Classic and Prime toys.

Most people don't care about this Circuit because most people don't care about Circuit. I had to look op who he was and yet another obscure euro only toy doesn't do it for me.

Eh. Personally I don't care about it because I can't see this mold as anyone but Lockdown, especially not some random Autobot AM. It was fine for Axer at the time, but that was before the Wreck-gar mold existed. After that, they both should have been redecoes of Scrapheap.

But Axer didn't turn into a motorcycle. He just rode one. And the Wreck-Gar mold looks ever less like him than the Lockdown one.

For those who can't or won't be subscribing or buying individually through the Club, maybe we should set up a separate thread for those who plan to subscribe, but don't want all of them.

Essentially, if one person wants Slipstream and Jackpot only and the other wants Mammoth and Circuit only, they share the costs by directly or buy off of subscriber.

So, basically one person gets a subscription, and they sell the toys they don't want for X amount that they bought them for in the first place plus Y amount for shipping to another person?

That sounds like a fair bargain, assuming the scalpers don't abuse it.

So their doing the joe thing?

So for me to get that BEUTIFUL breakdown fig..... who is like my favoritest of my favorite 'Con Gestalt team.... I'd have to get the fig subscription and get stuck with the animated Jackpot?

But I don't WANT the animated jackpot!!!!

I'm sure you'll find someone willing to part with their Breakdown, and for cheaper than going through the Club.

Breakdown is another release I also wanted but didn't think we would ever get. They don't normally reuse new heads from previous Botcon exclusives until now.

What's next for Breakdown and Botcon/OTFCC? Animated G2 Breakdown?

Depth Charge was a flyer with an aquatic alt mode in the TV series. This toy is a jet with a trident. Works for me. When do we get a Slave-1 recolor?

Depth Charge was a flying vehicle in Beast Wars, too. His vehicle mode looked just like the Starhopper shuttle he arrived in.

I guess.

I just always saw that mode as secondary. An added bonus. Not something that reflected his past alt/mode. His name is Deapth Charge after all, not Sky Charge.

And I gotta add, that Ultra Mammoth is one of the most God-awful ugly things I have ever seen! Someone said that they were really "over" with evil Optimus Prime repaints; well I am really, REALLY, well and over Ultra Magnus Optimus Prime repaints.

Depth charges can be dropped by plane or helicopter.

Eh, as long as they're not just white, I can dig them. This one's got enough color to make it interesting.

Depth Charge as a plane makes perfect sense.

Just like a vehicle mode of rampage should be a tank.

Thanks! The size and look are good enough to have Slipstream with the other Animated Seekers. Let's hope the head would be good enough, too.

I want the Slipstream figure, even if she doesn't looks fine with my Animated toys. But... if she looks good with my Seekers shelf will be AMAZING (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon-hotrod.gif) Slipstream is a major character in Animated and would be marvelous to have she (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon-hotrod.gif)

Major character? She was in a total of three episodes.

Hmm... try "one of most memorable" instead "a major". A Slipstream toy is a dream for most Animated Fans. Who doesn't want a complete Starscream's clones set?

Very similar to my thought. Why this Breakdown obsession? Every year we have another Breakdown! Because of him I am loosing one slot for another marvelous Animated figure like Jackpot (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon-hotrod.gif)

The club does this mix of figure to assure that all kinds of fans have some figures that they like. I have Jackpot, Slipstream and Scourge. My wife likes Ultra Mammoth. You will have Breakdown, there is someone that would like Circuit...

You don't want Animated, I (usually) don't want G1 stuff and (I guess) we both don't want Beast Era toys. If one of us got 100% happy, the other will be 100% sad. This year Botcon set and exclusives is a big pass, no Animated toys. I only want the SG Junkions and ever those will wait until I pay and buy other things.

I understand the Botcon sets have a common theme across all the figures, so are more hard to be good for everyone. But the subscription needs to be more diverse and made in a way that most fans want to subscribe.

I find it extraordinarily appropriate that Ultra Mammoth has a matrix that cannot open.

Ultra Magnus, the brother of Orion Pax, will never live that down. Now all we need is a voice chip with the phrase that he can't deal with this now.

I also prefer Axor and Circuit to be homages to their original Action Master robot modes, not their accessories. We got Axer's Turbo Cycle updated as Chopsaw. And Circuit has nothing to do with being a motorcycle of any form.

I dislike the whole idea of the Lockdown mold being redecoed into Axer because it seems to me the main justification is not that they actually look similar, but that they're both bounty hunters. Sure, they both turn into cars, but that's about it. That's a bit like saying the Generations Silverbolt mold would've made a good Starscream because they're both jet-team leaders. I'm much happier Hasbro prioritized physical appearance and chose Darkwing instead. I likewise would've preferred that Lockdown be redecoed as Ravage or Cannonball or a Junkion or Autobot Spike - something that really would've taken advantage of his looks, since once the toy becomes a new character it doesn't matter one whit who the previous persona was. (I have the same feelings about tank-Banzaitron.)

So as little business as I think the Lockdown mold has being made into Axer, Circuit is then an even less appropriate usage. Not only is there no substantial resemblance, but what kind of smooth-talking salesman would ever want to look that monstrous?

The higher the run, the cheaper these get, so will funpub fix the run size, or solicit orders first, or what?

This would also be a great way to get the lost Animated molds, the Asian market remolds, and FE out.

I still think that Detritus would be a FANTASTIC use for the mold. Unfortunately, getting Circuit makes it far less likely that the Club will be the provider, and I can't see Hasbro bothering.

Depth Charge works (and you can always just wave your hand and say that the jet can also fly underwater), but I wish they had made this:

Customs aren't the same thing as production toys, though. Can the plastic layout on Sharkticon lend itself well to Depth Charge?
