I have had little experience buying botcon exclusives before now, I vaguely know that they'll cost several times more than retail, but aside from that, I don't know what to expect?

How much should I be saving for a secondhand SG Treadshot, and what would be the best channel to get one if I'm not going to the convention?

I got Skybite off Ebay for 60-70 dollars from the Redux set. I'd say have a hundred ready to go and hope for less.

It's also hard to tell if Treadshot is going to be hotter than the other inhabitants of the box set. I know that when I was shopping around on eBay right after 2010 Botcon Breakdown was a good $20-30 more than some of the other figures in that set.

I would echo that guessing between 70-100 is relatively reasonable.

I would think by being a non-G1 homage he's likely not to be as popular among "the masses".

The best place to look would likely be the BST board here. There are a lot of Allsparkers splitting up and selling off their box sets.

I'd expect the price to drop, unless there is a big demand for this set.

Did any of the other exclusives sell out besides SG Prime/Kick-Out?

Junkions did, as well as the headband.

I'm pretty surprised by the prices BBTS and TFSource are listing these at. They're by far cheaper than any previous after Botcon offerings they've listed. Ebay prices even seem tame, and history shows that prices are usually insane the weekend of Botcon. Were production numbers just really high on souvenir pieces this year, or is the interest in this year's figures kind of low?

Thanks, Walky for the confirmation.

It could be a combination of both. Not many like the Shattered Glass theme.

It's such a nice looking set, though.

It happens every year - I see individual figures as great or lame, but when I see the whole set together, it looks fantastic.

I'm very excited to get everything when I pick it up at the end of May. I even got a headband and trading card set! Woo!
