I am already loving "Ratbat". Even on such tiny pics, he looks much better then that abysmal third-part thing that only had one leg...
I wonder what the fusion cannon transforms into, though. I hope these minicons will be available separately, too. Unicron is... well, as expected, a Rock Lord. Not sure what the whole 'Chaos Armor' is for, unless that is meant for Nemesis Prime (who is bound to get a toy). Maybe in S2 they will again pull Unicron out of their tailpipe for a season ending? And Swerve seems to be Breakdown, with a new head. I have read on TFW2005 (gotten from someone who understands japanese) that the Jet Vehicon is not a new mold, it is the car mold retooled. Those PCC's really do look a lot better with a more unified color scheme. Still doesn't really outweigh the general mehness issues though, especially at that price.
I love me some PCCs, but aside from Steamhammer and the Dinobots, I'm not really crazy about any of the combiners. -------------------- Signature? I don't need no stinking signature.

New clearer pics at TFormers
Looks like Ratbat will have clear wings, or, well... will be fully clear dark energon, erm, purple plastic. For a Minicon, he is also huge - has a larger wingspan than Megs himself. I am hoping to see a close-up soon. The gorilla/Lugnut looks similar to the one that came with the Voyager. As for the flying Vehicon, how did Dead End say it? "A flying car? How droll..." The redecos just look to be molded in different colors with possibly recolored stickers. They're definitely the same sticker designs, though.
I think when I get these in, the two groups of three that are intended to combine will be artifacts of the Thirteen, in my collection. -------------------- |

I hope I'm not the only person that click on jet vehicon at went "OH BOY A VEHICON MINICON"...
Arms 1-3 make a big sword. 7-9 make a shield I think. I REALLY like these guys, I might have to preorder them. |

The new ones are all quite nice, but I hope that doesn't mean we won't get the remaining molds in some form.
You'd think we would - for example, the YouTube videos posted the other day were showing how to combine four of Ratchet's sword micron together, which is horrendously out of most kids price range if you'd have to buy four Ratchet's to obtain them. Phazer |
