Starscream looks nice. Bulkhead just isn't as good as the FE version. This post has been edited by Meister79: Apr 17 2012, 08:10 AM -------------------- |

Starscream is indeed nice. But yeah, Bulkhead falls short of the FE.

Bulkhead just isn't as good as the FE version. That may be the case, but again, it's not like we have much choice. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon-megs.gif) -------------------- |

Meh, I only need Bulkhead to keep in vehicle mode so his less than stellar accuracy doesn't really bother me. Starscream does look nice but I prefer the FE overall, still gonna get him though.

Starscream looks better without that huge weapon.

Yeah, the "powerizer" weapons continue to disappoint.

On the positive side, at least this time the tumor part of the gun is sculpted like a missile pod on both figures, so it's a functional tumor.

Those weapons are ugly, especially Bulkhead's in vehicle mode. Starscream looks pretty cool overall, but I don't much like those translucent arms.
I think I'll pass on these. I don't have any particular fondness for Bulkhead and this figure isn't doing anything for me. And those dang translucent arms on top of that weird weapon are really killing that Starscream. |

Yeah, the "powerizer" weapons continue to disappoint. Agreed. Thankfully the gimmick mostly leaves the main figures alone....well... except for the translucent plastic on the arms that is. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon-wildride.gif) -------------------- ![]() |

Considering that PRID Optimus and Megatron have translucent parts, that is altogether unsurprising. I'll just paint over em.

Starscream is indeed nice. But yeah, Bulkhead falls short of the FE. Admittedly, I think this Bulkhead does look much better than the initial pictures we saw, but yes, still much inferior to my FE version. That said though, if I hadn't managed to get the FE version I think I could be happy with this one, stupid gimmick weapon aside. Starscream is nice too, but I'll stick with my FE version. I really don't need two Starscreams despite the fact that the FE is in scale with the other Cons and PRiD Screamer is more in scale with he Bots. I'll get the figures, but I'll leave the weapons off of them. The weapons are just overly large, and don't add a thing to the vehicle or robot modes.

Put a topknot on him and repaint him into Robo-Sumo.

For the love of primus, I HATE the powerizer gimmick so fracking much. It looks terrible, it doesn't function, the weapons are useless (not even having the decency of Voyager mechtechs locking open), and looks pathetic when attached to almost any figure.
That aside, the Screamer looks pretty darn good (aside for the cancerous transparent arms brought on by the above), and Bulky while inferior to FE in every way (as usual) doesn't seem terrible, though I wish his shoulders were wider set. I might just have to pick up Starstream. He is looking very nice. Bulkhead...not so much.

(...) That aside, the Screamer looks pretty darn good (aside for the cancerous transparent arms brought on by the above), (...) Well, I'm glad that Starscream's joints aren't made of translucent plastic. (look at the picture. There's opaque plastic underneath the clear stuff) This post has been edited by Item42: Apr 17 2012, 11:23 AM |
