Wow the MtMtE solicit and cover almost gives me the shivers. That sounds amazing. And it features the full return of real Cons to the book. That RG1 cover is pretty awesome too. Best piece by Wildman I've seen on this series yet. Though I don't see why keeping Marvel colors throughout wouldn't have been easier/better. Oh, and Turmoil was in TWO issues! So... I'm all for advertising hyperbole but referring to Turmoil as a "fan-favorite character" is pretty much outright lying.

For example, if you mostly read the IDW forums, then Turmoil IS a fan-favorite character. Let's not be all TFW2005 here and assume that the entirety of the fanbase is right here and the folks who aren't here agree with us. His appearances were in issues that (I doubt) sold over a few thousand copies.
I mean, in all honesty, the largest segment of "The Fandom" are the people who watched the movies and maybe have seen a few episodes of Prime. They probably don't even know who DRIFT is to say nothing of his one time Commander who showed up for like fifteen panels across two comics. It would be just as disingenuous to call Sky Garry the "fan favorite Autobot commander" or Paddles "the fan favorite Dinobot" even if you could find fifteen fans who agreed with it; that statement is far from definitive on a fandom-wide scale. What exactly are the criteria for someone to be a fan favorite? Like over on the IDW boards, there's about three people excited about Turmoil and he's barely been mentioned since the Drift miniseries when he last appeared. He doesn't get a tenth of the attention guys like Overlord do.
