Monday April 23rd - the Monday before BotCon - The Texas Rangers will be giving out Bot Shots toys to the first 10,00 children 13 and under. So if you like baseball and are heading to Dallas early, sounds like you might want to look into the game! -------------------- |

Little point in going unless you A> have at least one child, B> yourself or your children possess interest in baseball, C> don't mind the idea of spending at least $16 plus convenience fees to take in a game and get a Bot Shot if they haven't exhausted the supply by the time you scan in, and D> can stand to watch the Yankees if they're not playing against your favorite team.
(I'm sure the staff at the Ballpark are just as discerning as the staff at Miller Park, so don't attend by yourself, secure in the belief that you'll be able to talk 'em out of one.) I remember when Hasbro partnered with a different team to give away a free G. I. Joe figure (this guy, minus accessories) at a baseball game as a July 4th promo back in '04.

It's a nice perk for parents, but I can't see anyone trying to go just for this unless it's an exclusive figure (if it's already mentioned it is, apologies for overlooking).

I already had tickets to the game so the Transformer was a plus. No Bot Shots though they gave away Cyberverse Legion class figures with a Botcon ad.
