No, this isn't a post to ask you to click on the google ads (but feel free if you see something you like).

Rather, this is just to comment on how freaky the algorithms are. I just downloaded CutePDF because I don't have a printer on this laptop. It's a neat program that lets you print to it as though it is a printer and save it as a PDF document.

So even though that has nothing to do with anything here... now my ads are for 7zip and similar open source, free software. Nothing on this site generated it.. it came solely from my download in another tab.

What else does Google track, I wonder.

There's a reason I won't use Chrome. Oh, sure, I expect they can track whatever they like regardless of your browser, but no need to make it easier for them.

I suspect they can look at all the cookies, and if it can detect subject matter, it changes adds to match. Ive noticed lots of strange crossover data with the adds. The funny thing is they are so hit or miss, like "Quality Transformers and Electronics" and I paid my comcast bill the other day, so now I get Clear and Century Link ads.

I like the spam recipes that show up in Gmail sometimes.

I've been getting ads for Russian dating sites lately. I don't remember looking at website featuring Russian women here recently.

I've been getting Asian girls ads, myself, which I've not been too in a LONG TIME.

Seriously.

World of Warcraft is a popular one that pops up.

Ever since I've been dating my girlfriend I've been getting dating ads featuring big hooves girls. It's funny as my girpfriend has a rather nice rack.
