So we know technically Starscream, Optimus and Bumblebee are minor variants with the symbols changed. Any changes in Megatron?

According to pictures he looks about exact. Which I find to be a shame. A steel grey helmet and blue face would have been nice.
That green helmet makes him look unfinished and incomplete. -------------------- .

I just came from a Dollar General by my house and they had one of each. I left the Starscream behind. The Starscream does have a black head.

It's a light red, but on the yellow/orange plastic, it sorta looks orangy. It's the same paint as the Autobot symbol.

I found Bumblebee today. I didn't know he was remolded. There are new pegs on his arms and corresponding holes in his sides to keep them tight in vehicle mode (though I snipped mine off since they made the connection TOO tight)
Man, I absolutely adore the colors. I'd love to see the deluxe done up this way. The dark mustardy yellow plastic with black and red-orange stripes just looks so nice. I really like the dark silver used for the arms and face too. That said, there are a few minor QC issues. One of the rear wheels is pinned in a bit crooked, the paint is a touch sloppy around a few edges, and his head is glued on so it's tilting slightly up. |
