And another thief is on the loose on Cybertron.

Thanks to Walky for the basic colorscheme concept and Sipher for the name.

I dig. Muchly.

I really like how the red paintapps on the hull recall his scorpion legs. The red border around the visor is a nice touch, too.

Sorry Drive-By, but you've got it backwards. I modelled Shortround because I was making Scorponaut. The fact that he's part of a larger project is wholly immaterial. Also, I didn't start the model until May 17th, so its not as if I took my Starscream model from 3 years ago and textured him up like Terrorsaur.

Can't take credit for that choice, Walky gave me the idea for the red-stripes-as-scorpion-legs thing.

My one complaint is that I think its too small compared to Waspinator. Other then that, good job, you did an excellent job transfering the character to that model.

Scorponok was pretty short, man.

Yeah, Scorponok was only taller than Blackarachnia, out of the season 1 Preds.

Kinda looks like Scorponok is slouching there. So, bearing that in mind, he looks to be about the same size as Waspinator.
More or less.

Superb stuff as always, both in the rendering and the treatment of the color schemes. It'll be a crime if the fan club doesn't give us something like this as an addendum to this year's exclusives set.

--------------------

"The very purpose of religion is to control yourself, not to criticize others. Rather, we must criticize ourselves. How much am I doing about my anger? About my attachment, about my hatred, about my pride, my jealousy? These are the things which we must check in daily life." - The Dalai Lama

"So it was okay to waterboard a guy over 80 times, but God forbid the guy who could understand what that prick was saying has a boyfriend." - Jon Stewart, in reference to the dismissal of military personnel under the "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" policy

He was, but man, there's some perspective going on in that picture... it's not a good judge of size comparison. heck, I don't even think that's a good judge even taking that into consideration. I'm pretty sure BA fought TM2 Dinobot at one point and their sizes were NOT as different as they are here! hell, he's squatting! he's bigger than Rampage in that pic!
