The second Fluttershy episode of the season is almost here.

Hurricane Fluttershy: Fluttershy needs to overcome her self-consciousness in order to help Rainbow Dash and the other pegasi with the Rainy Season.

Looks like we'll get a few more new ponies in this one.

That was great!

I loved how realistic the lesson was; that training hard and doing your best won't necessarily make you the greatest, but you shouldn't stop and you should be proud of your own personal best, even if others are better than you.

Lots of great running gags, like the roid raging pony. Also, looooots of Derpy (including a Derpy mask worn by the animals).

I liked this one a whole lot.

Very good episode. With lots of nice visuals to episode. A masterful eye nightmare scene by Nayuki, roid rage pony which will proably get name from a secondary character from ren and stimpy, woodland animals cosplay pony masks, good variety with all the background pegasus, and fluttershy outfit parade. With the best one ebing the tree costume. Plus a toy character get her show debut with Bloomsforth it not one but two scenes. Like DrSpengler said the morale and lessons of the episode were very realistic done. In which incase you haven't watch the episode yet. Wheren't done as being predictible but how it would handle in real life if someone were to try. Defiently one of the stronger episode for season 2.

AMAZING!

Totally made up for last week! This episode had everything! Good jokes, fun callbacks, & an emotional thrill ride.

Fluttershy is not just my favorite pony because she's so cute & lovable. But because I connect with her as a character. I wasn't good at sports when I was little, I was picked on in school, I hardly talk so in this episode I really felt for her.

+ Rainbow Dash was probably at her most in character this entire season. Determined to succeed no matter what the cost. Trying her best to make Fluttershy join with the rest of the pegasi. In fact this along with the reference to their fillyhood past, the scenes between the two are sweet.
+ New BG pegasi! The one that's obviously on steroids was hilarious.
+ The scene where Angel & Fluttershy's other animals cheer up & helped her improve her confidence was sweet. It's a nice reminder that Fluttershy not just takes care of them, but they're Fluttershy's friends and are loyal to her.
+ The montage was epic. I love how one of the animals had a Derpy mask at one point.
+ Twilight not being able to speak squirrel, definitely had to be a PPG reference.
+ Of course, the entire third act was an amazing climax even if I figured how it was gonna go down.

Grade: A+

Excellent episode. I particularly liked how much RD wanted Fluttershy to get to be a part of the accomplishment. Yes, Dash really wants to do awesome things, but she also wants other ponies to do awesome things. The oh-so-Fluttershy training montage was a lot of fun, and also badger.

Relevant aside: I was autocrossing today--and having a rough time of it my first runs. The last run wasn't enough to win my class, but I brought my time way down from earlier in the day, and it felt great. Appropriate episode to watch when I got home!

Gawds, I was waiting forever for YouTube to put that up. Not exactly a 'fun' episode but a good decent one. I was actually most impressed with Rainbow Dash, except for one (maybe two parts), she was remarkably not obnoxious. She pushed the others hard but she didn't insult anyone or put anyone down or tease (as far as I can recall). I'm proud of Rainbow Dash in this ep, even over Fluttershy.

Fluttershy finally got to be a tree! Teehee! I wonder if it's an intentional callback to that Appaloosa episode? I can't believe she would lie tho. Twice even. Bad Fluttershy! A pox on thee! Fake pox!

Thunderlane? I kept hearing Thunderwing (Transformers ref, lol). Where the heck is Scootaloo? If a little Pegasus like Rumble can be there, why not her?

Cool training work! I dunno if I wanted an actual song sequence there cuz I can't imagine how it would go. Hmm, ok, maybe as TF Dare or Mulan's Be a Man. Lol at Flutter vs Butter flies! Cool idea using those, Uh, whatchamacallits flower thingys to gauge her own speed. Btw that tree she was crying under looked familiar. Was it used before?

Anemometer, yeah. The big one is a lot of tech tho. They really need hurricanes to make clouds? Celestia is too important to evaporate lakes for Equestria? Boo!

Felt kinda sad that Rainbow Dash was disappointed that she can't break the record due to loss of a few pones. Still, glad she tried. Good thing no one was injured. Yeah, the new pegasus's look great in action!

The story plot is simple and no huge twists of so but I'm just getting back to Fluttershy being proven to be much faster than her performance here. She outflew a weighed down Dash in Discord part 2. She kept pace with her while dragging a cart in the Round Up ep. She was quick when shaking down trees in the Flim Flam gambit. Surely the hurricane, with the rainy fate of all Equestria behind it, is important enough to get her to break her 5.0 wing speed (the meter stopped at 795, right? And her fastest at the track was 2.5 or 2.3? I didn't hear Twilight say anything about it going more than it had to so I'm assuming Fluttershy only did was bare minimum).

Did Angel bunny frown when the squirrel gave the nuts to comfort Fluttershy? Like he didn't want anyone else to comfort her? I wanted him to have more scenes ala being slammed into the tree, lol!

And for a minute there, I thought Thunderlane's name was Thunderwing... which would have been even more awesome.

This show keeps coming up with more and more new and great designs every episode. Is it wrong of me to expect toys of these characters? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon-fire.gif) (And that reminds me, I need to pick up Blossomforth now...) Muscle-pony was hilarious, and so was the whole WWII-type hurricane documentary/reel.
