Some coloring I've done (Update: Martial Artist) Options

This first one started out strong but when I got into more precise things like face and hair I really lost it. I don't have the ability nor the patience to try to do this style. But I'm glad I got it done. I forgot to do one of her arm bands though.. oops...





The next one I've done in more traditional comic style. Not only did I finish it in a few hours rather than several days.. I guess it looks okay.

The line art in both cases were done by Joseph Combs. These are concept/site images for my soon to be announced RPG that we are writing/publishing.

I'll admit that I like the other colored version of her you did, but this looks really sharp. It's going to look awesome on a t-shirt.

I've tweaked Geode a bit. His rock was more orange than I wanted it to be and looked too much like The Thing.

Also added is a picture of a Valkyrie (A playable race) and an Energy Projection hero with Flight -- both are members of an organization called The Bronze.

This is Ranger, he represents the Soldier class. We'll be doing a study of that class soon to better explain the role and abilities.

I friggin' LOVE all the designs for these characters. They look like a fun, eclectic group that would be a lot of fun to read about.

Plus, y'know... you've got a person that size-shifts, a geomorph, and the requisite (I assume) superman/woman type character. My favorite power sets. All win as far as I'm concerned. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon-ironhide.gif)

Thanks -- the fact is, some of these characters only exist to illustrate how a certain power might work. Our setting is very robust and I'm making it a point to drop bits of information when I post, but not all of these characters are even important.

The artist who drew them did the designs on Ranger and Geode as well as Everest. The Valkyrie and the Energy Projector were a group effort. (Valkyries are about 7 feet tall)

Those two latter characters in particular don't even have names because they are characters that our playtesters will be playing at our live event next month. They get to name them.


But back to your point of having everything you like -- that's really the whole basis of the game. I know there's a lot of super hero fans in here and I know many play video games -- but the fact is, you guys will be able to make and play *your own* characters in our setting (or any setting you want to make up). We just give you the tools to do it.
