Both me and a friend of mine have stumbled onto this odd lizard-guy toy in an used toy shop in Hungary - it's still there...

(IMG:http://kepfeltoltes.hu/120301/DSC02352_www.kepfeltoltes.hu_.jpg)

It's quite large (Voyager sized) and has some electronics (sounds most likely) as evident by the holes in it. Quite heavy too. The style reminds me of the show Bucky O'Hare, but I could not find pictures of any such character online... Any help is appreciated.

It's not from Bucky O'Hare. The figures weren't that big to begin with. If you see it again, maybe try to find the manufacturer marks?

Just checked the virtual toychest, its not a bucky toy. The styling could also lean towards TMNT in the 80's.

I'm guessing something out of the mid-late 90's based on the excessive size.

I thought it might've been from Street Sharks, since they were pretty big figures... but I can't find a match and it's not quite the right aesthetic for that line anyway. It really looks more like a Bucky O'Hare or 90s TMNT figure, but the scale sounds way off.

Well... I tried to use Akinator to figure it out. No luck.

I want to say there was some kind of "sister line" to Bucky O'Hare but I'm blanking on what it was called.

I guess in the end, I'll buy it just to be sure it's not some rare toy. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon-hotrod.gif) I'll post better pics then - this one was taken by my friend's cellphone. I checked the manufacturer when I was there, and am pretty sure it was some company I never heard about.

The shop sells toys by weight, so this one is about 6$ as it's quite heavy. They get used toys by the dozen from the UK every week, and I already found some good stuff there (like a Rock Shot Rocklord, Optimal Optimus, RID Magnus...)

Kalidor - pic's hosted on a hungarian site, maybe your service blocks that...

That seems to be the case. I got it to load at home. Sadly, I've never seen it.

I've never heard of a store selling toys by weight. How bizarre! I just picture a place like Bulk Barn with bins of toys that you would scoop up and put in plastic bags.

"I'll take 200 grams of MiniCons, and maybe a pound of First Edition Bulkhead."

"We don't have any First Edition Bulkhead today, sir... would you like some First Edition Starscreams?"

"FFFFUUUU----!!!!"

Well, Bucky was from Hasbro, so... yeah, definitely not. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon-arcee.gif)

I'm not having much luck figuring it out myself, and I'm usually a wizard at these things. I'd wager you're looking at some short-lived line from a tiny company in the 90s/early 00s that was trying to cash in on the mutant animal/EXTREME! craze.

Mind you, these are all loose toys in various state - that RID Magnus was a real junker.

There is a huge import clothes industry in my country - they get them by the ton from the UK - and as I understand, lots of used toys are also shipped with these (I have my suspicions they were supposed to go to poor kids as donations...) There are tons of stores like these, which sell used clothes (most of them barely used, mind you). But only 1-2 that deal with toys only.

Unfortunately, the store clerk's kid seems into TFs, so he swipes them for him lately... My friend did manage to assemble a quite impressive Power Rangers Megazord collection from what's left, though.
