Yeah, Scooby is all I really know him from.

Still, he was only just recently in an episode of Spongebob (in a live action role) and he looked just fine, so this certainly is unexpected.

IIRC, my first ever concert was their 20th anniversary tour...great time, despite Mike not taking part...

Y'see, even the Editor of the Enquirer has to draw the pun line somewhere, and you just obliterated that line with a big huge cannon filled with vast amounts of gunpowder.

Good old Scooby is where I first heard him as well. Sad day, he was quite the singer.

Never been a huge fan of the Monkees, but it's sad to hear he's past.

I imagine his locker will be sold at auction.

I'm glad he died after Whitney Houston instead of immediately before, or we'd have never heard about this. It's a bummer and I'm sad to see him go.

MSN is reporting that the most likely cause of death was hardened arteries.

The coroner is still awaiting the toxicology report, but everything about the matter says that it was, indeed natural causes.

I saw the title, and thought "guess someone found his locker and stabbed the heart?" - never knew the singer by name.

That's a shame. I'm not really a Monkees fan, but I love "Head."
