So I found my disks, and have finally started playing KOTOR in anticipation of the eventual release of SW:TOR for the Mac.
I've started it a few times in the past but never got too far into it. I've just so far moved around the first planet a bit, stumbling into this "quest" or that. That entire section on Taris runs sooooooooo looooooooooooooooooong.
Pretty solid game otherwise, though. Well ... I remember the PC port being a bit unstable, but they did patch it, which helped quite a lot. -------------------- Whiskey Tango Foxtrot, over.

Fun game. Could have used more voices for the aliens, though. You heard the same gargley voices used over and over a lot.

Easily one of my favorite games ever. Kotor 2 was equally good, in my opinion. Both had their shortcomings, and I'd never play them again because I know they wouldnt hold up. I'd rather remember them through rose tinted nostalgia glasses.

So, I'm going all light side in the game, making the good choices...but if you head Dark Side, what happens? Does the annoying Carth npc bail? Do you get to kill him?

NPCs will react to you differently, but I don't remember the specific details. Final resolution for any of them isn't until very, very late in the game, I think.

My favorite XBox game by far. I really wish they'd have done Kotor 3 instead of that damned PC MMO.

right, but I hate PC games, don't have a computer that will run it, and they won't release it on XBox 360
