This show is still more fun and enjoyable then Prime is.
Also Doc Green's car at the start looks like it was a homage to the Delorian Time Machine. -------------------- ***Signature removed by Staff due to size restrictions. Please keep to 500X200 images and text included.***

Anyone know when the repeat is scheduled? I had college today, and no one was at home to fiddle with the VCR for me (I don't have the $$$ for a DVR).

I quite liked the first two episodes, but I found this one just dull. Too much in the way of mundane disasters (rockslides, lightning strikes), too little whacky super-science.

Skipped though it, not particularly interesting.

Even if it doesn't have the long-running plots of Prime, it does character moments far, far, far better than Prime ever has. And I'd rather have character over plot any day. Like My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. Hey, how about that!

As usual, great fun! I loved the Delorean homage, and was Dani's suggestion to try to stop it by landing on it a reference to the second BTTF when Marty suggests something similar?
Did anyone catch the name of the cliffs where Blades went down? Also, is there a trailer for next week's episode anywhere? -------------------- TFWiki.net - The Transformers Wiki: because where else are you going to learn about The Battle for Planet Earth?

I liked that this one focused on Dani, and yes that was totally the Delorean Time Machine with green liquid instead of blue lightning.

Finally got around to watching my tape of the Sunday broadcast.
I quite liked the first two episodes, but I found this one just dull. Too much in the way of mundane disasters (rockslides, lightning strikes), too little whacky super-science. Actually, I found the string of disasters to be pretty reasonable, especially if they all took place over a relatively short span of time (such as 2 - 3 days). In my neck of the woods, we can get some pretty powerful storms moving on through. What's worse, rather than one large storm simply coming and going, we can have entire weeks in which the storms arbitrarily come and go. Bridge out? A hard wind and a hard rain could have taken it down with ease. Rock slide? Hard rain over a prolonged period can actually weaken the structure of some formations. In fact, we've actually got a problem around here with a local variety of clay: it's absolutely solid when dry, but disintegrates completely when wet. Tree down? Hard winds. Then we have the lightning storm that made for the major twist in the episode. -------------------- Lexicon: still up and running!

Good character episode for Blades. I like they they teased him for the shovel-gut and then resented his glory-hogging (which was really more Dani's influence). As with Prime, this show sells itself to me on the strength of the personalities. I like that even though this is the show for the younger set, the characters have quirks (Heatwave is a jerk, Blades a bit of a pantywaist, Chase is uptight, etc).

This would have been a great episode to introduce the Rescue Gear gimmick. Doesn't Hasbro want to sell toys? Why hasn't Sawyer Storm made an appearance?
Oh, and Rescue Bots is better than Prime. |

You know, after watching this episode, I just have to draw a crossover pic of G1 Blades holding this counterpart of him dangling from a one-story height building, expressing his disbelief that this guy is supposed to be him... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon-fire.gif)
