Not me. Saw this on Botch the Crab's site which had to be shared.
QUOTE My good friend periL75 just landed the Transformers score of a lifetime. Diligently checking Craigslist every morning, noon and night, he was the first to respond to an ad placed by an older couple who had several boxes of vintage Transformers for sale. For only $500, my friend took home a near-complete G1 collection: http://www.botchthecrab.com/replies.asp?index=682 (IMG:http://www.botchthecrab.com/post_images/score_of_a_lifetime.jpg) All those toys for $500. Thats unbelievably awesome. |

It's funny, I shouldn't be too jealous since I've got about 98% of the stuff in that picture myself already... But somehow I still kinda am. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon-hotrod.gif)
I'd like to say it's mostly the very few I'm missing like Springer and Bludgeon. But if I'm honest... It's just the idea of getting a ton of new G1 Transformers. Even if I had everything in the pic I'd still be a bit envious of that haul. -ZacWilliam, remembers back in high school when a kid tried to sell me his older brother's old TFs. At the time (high school, remember) I was kinda embarassed about still collecting toys so I passed. Now I wish I'd taken him up on it... weather if you have a near complete g1 collection or not is irrelevant. The fact that this person just got 1000's of dollars worth of toys for 500 bucks is amazing. And from the pictures, they look damned near complete and in good shape. Awesome find!

Daaaaaaaaaaaaaaamn!!! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon-bee.gif) Nice one! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon-ironhide.gif)
Trying to see if I can spot any of the twenty I need (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon-fire.gif) Don't recognise any of them in the pics, but who knows what's hidden in the boxes (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon-fire.gif) -------------------- QUOTE(Drivaaar @ Jan 22 2006, 06:22 PM) Y'see, even the Editor of the Enquirer has to draw the pun line somewhere, and you just obliterated that line with a big huge cannon filled with vast amounts of gunpowder. |

Holy bejeezus. I may have a chunk of that, but could you imagine how many times over you'd make your money back from the doubles on eBay?
