30,000 years old? That's impressive, but has little to no difference to modern day plants. I wonder what else they can bring back?

Your theory is fairly well thought out, and definitely sounds like it could work. Holy crap! That's very haunting. I must fav that! That just replaced my other Luna fav. |

Well, I remember the case when a newt found frozen in ice in the Alpes (also dated to be incredibly old) could have been revived. Did not live long afterwards, but still neat. (Tailgate, anyone?)
As for the plant, well, I guess we better prepare for the Triffid invasion. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon-hotrod.gif) -------------------- |

As for the plant, well, I guess we better prepare for the Triffid invasion. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon-hotrod.gif) Two major problems with that. The triffids were a genetically created organism, and they were made by the soviets... so it's not likely to happen. Yes, I saw the new series on BBC, it was pretty awesome, but I go by the book, which was awesome-er. -------------------- |

And even then Triffids were only a threat after many populations across the entire globe was blinded by a meteor storm.
