But if one's default is to become like unto a furnace during sleep, it's fine, right?

You should wrap yourself in bacon before you go to sleep so you can wake up to breakfast in bed!

I run hot in general... warm to the touch to about minus twenty.

I have a fan on me right now because its hot in my house .. gotta keep it at 15C so the pipes under my floorboards don't freeze, other wise I'd be in here in shorts at 10C

How much is any of that in human degrees?

15C and 10C. Catch up with the rest of planet, please? Its... sweater or jacket weather outside temperature. Not cold enough to bitch about, but cold enough to take measures.

Edit: 50-60 farenheit, for the record.

Depends on when it was built, but in many cases I've seen people tend towards insulation rather than aircon.

I don't have sleep-specific clothing. I take off my shoes then go to bed.

I shower/change when I wake up in the AM.

Unless its Peter Garrett insulation...then you just die in a house fire.

Air conditioners in Australia come with a free poisonous snake.

I think that's the deal with everything. Buy something ... comes with a real live poison bearing animal.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who suffers this ailment.

It's been an ongoing problem for me that I just feel warmer than most people, leading me into many air-conditioning battles with my mother, until we finally got a smaller unit installed in my bedroom window. Sleep with a fan on all year long and generally can't sleep without it.

Although there is some debate about if that has more to do with the noise or the air. At last check, it was a little of both.

It's currently like in the 30C range up here, we try not to use our air conditioning up here to avoid the bills.

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon-depth.gif) Wouldn't your sheets end up pretty grubby from sleeping in your day clothes, though?

Heck, I've gotten into the habit of showering about an hour before bed to A) save time in the morning, and B) keep my sheets cleaner longer so I don't have to change them quite as often.
