I tried wearing shorts to bed, but I kept winding up without them by the time I woke up.

No.

On occasions where there will be interactions with friends or family or near strangers, I will usually wear sweatpants or yoga pants with sports bra or a thick, oversized t-shirt.

Lounging around the house before bed, I wear pajama pants in the summer and sweat pants in the winter with a t-shirt.

When I got to bed, though, I just wear my boxers (unless I'm sharing a hotel room or something, then I wear a shirt).

I haven't worn the full-on pajama ensemble to bed since I was a little kid.

It varies:

Hot Summer night: shorts or briefs (wherever I am in my laundry cycle). Blanket optional.

Cooler Summer night: long pyjama pants. Blanket may get thrown off during the night.

Autumn/Spring/mild Winter: long pyjama pants and T-shirt

Freaking cold Winter night with roaring gale-force winds: long PJ pants and long-sleeved pullover top. Blanket pulled over head (for warmth, not protection (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon-arcee.gif) ).

(I should mention that I currently live on the 28th floor of an apartment building. When it gets cold up here, it gets cold.)

95% of the time I wear knit shorts of some kind, and an old t-shirt to sleep in. Occasionally wear pajama pants or sweat pants instead in the winter. That's what I sit around the house in too, if I'm home I don't really wear jeans or shorts unless company is over. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon-waspy.gif)

Sweat pants in the winter and shorts in the summer. I usually leave on whatever shirt I've been wearing during the day, unless it's really been through the ringer.

My girlfriend, on the other hand, does have the full pajama sets so people definitely do wear them.

Not since I was a child. I only wear boxers to bed because now that I have kittens I don't want them swatting at my dick as they are prone to attacking any protruding object.

I generally lose the pants as soon as I get home. I'm pantless right now...

Pretty much just the tighty blue-ies/greenies/whiteys for me. If its a super, *super* cold night I'll wear a shirt but I get insanely hot during the night so it rarely stays on if I do go to bed wearing one.

Summer I wake up nekkid half the time despite wearing briefs to bed.

But I almost always have a sheet over me when I sleep. Gotta have that sheet.....

I live in sweat pants though the moment I get home from work. Or basketball shorts if it's summer.

So to answe the original question: no. No pjs for this guy.

I have a couple full pajama outfits, and even one silly, old-fashioned nightcap that I think was mostly a joke gift (though it's warm and comfy), but I usually just wear pajama pants with a white t-shirt. I probably sleep in my clothes more often than I do a full pajama set.

I usually start with full pajama sets, but by morning I've generally ditched the shirt part. Can't sleep without pants.

Uh... excessive exposure to cold weakens the immune system, and makes you weaker in general, what with the body needing to work harder and tap more resources to reach the normal levels.

But if one's default is to become like unto a furnace during sleep, it's fine, right?

I dunno. I would suppose. Never actually heard of people becoming excessively hot while sleeping outside of menopause or illness.

I run hot in general... warm to the touch to about minus twenty.

I have a fan on me right now because its hot in my house .. gotta keep it at 15C so the pipes under my floorboards don't freeze, other wise I'd be in here in shorts at 10C
