"Critics who treat 'adult' as a term of approval, instead of as a merely descriptive term, cannot be adult themselves. To be concerned about being grown up, to admire the grown up because it is grown up, to blush at the suspicion of being childish; these things are the marks of childhood and adolescence. And in childhood and adolescence they are, in moderation, healthy symptoms. Young things ought to want to grow. But to carry on into middle life or even into early manhood this concern about being adult is a mark of really arrested development. When I was ten, I read fairy tales in secret and would have been ashamed if I had been found doing so. Now that I am fifty I read them openly. When I became a man I put away childish things, including the fear of childishness and the desire to be very grown up." -- C.S. Lewis

Dr. M needs to have a toy.

With a voice chip.

-ZacWilliam, and a Transforming Morocco-Con wouldn't be terrible.

I hope he ends up as a Reaccuring villian and not just someone that will never be seen again after this two-parter. With him we'd be a step closer my previous idea of introducing trouble making counterparts to the rescue bots, since his Morbot looks like it'd be a step in the right direction.

TV Guide says Dr. Morocco is... Tim Curry.

That's it. Tim Curry on Transformers. Life complete.

Is it wrong that I'm INSTANTLY lusting for Dr. Morrocco to crossover and invade Transformers Prime?

Dr. Morrocco and Robo-Silas team-up!

-ZacWilliam, only way this could have been cooler is if his reall name had been Archeville. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon-arcee.gif)

Well he was on the phone with *someone* that wanted an army of Morbots, soooo. . . . .

I really need to get caught up on this show. The first couple eps were okay, but not really doing it for me. I kept tuning out of the flobster episode, and hadn't watched it since then. Caught the Morocco ep and it was cool. Watched a couple more on demand (the nanites, alien invasion) and those were good. And Tim Curry as a recurring character- man, nothing tops that. Sorry, LeVar- your star power is no match for the Curry.

We know a few more episodes by now.
QUOTE
The Griffin Rock Triangle (June 16)
Cody finds a clue to an old mystery and makes a startling underwater discovery.
Rules and Regulations (June 23)
The Rescue Bots disobey the Chief's orders and find themselves in a life-threatening situation.
The Lost Bell (June 30)
A storm strands Cody on a deserted island where they find a pirate ship that holds the key to a mystery.

Looks like the plot arc for the second half of season 1 is going to be a nautical mystery!

I'd be blown away if they used the Pirate theme to connect to Cannonball or the StarSeekers.

Or, hey, what if this island Cody's trapped on turns out to be Tatui, as some of hindsighted foreshadowing put into episode 5. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon-arcee.gif)

Man, the more I think about it, Rescue Bots is just leaps and bounds better at storytelling than Prime has ever been. We get a really great two-part beginning that actually feels like a beginning, followed by a small batch of seemingly filler episodes that establish the status quo and flesh out the characters, then comes a multi-episode story arc that culminates in an excellent two-part climax that really sets the bar high, and now we get a second story arc underway shortly after. That is magnificent. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon-silverbolt.gif)

By comparison, it makes watching Prime feel like a chore, since it's story seemed to drag on forever until it finally got to the point of an ongoing story arc in season 2.

FINALLY! BB's on his way!

I'm betting he'll be like a special guest star for that episode, since he'll have to get back to Team Prime in Jasper, Nevada at some point. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon-arcee.gif)

It'll be funny to see how the others react to his beeping speech. I'd crack up at Heatwave getting so frustrated at trying to understand him. "WHAT ARE YOU SAYING?!!!" (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon-blitz.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon-fire.gif)

Here's his character model.

Also, we need threads for each of these new episodes. The Rescue Bots discussion section only goes as far as "The Reign of Morocco", which already aired.
