Read it and Weep: "After mocking it as an 'egghead' pursuit, Rainbow Dash discovers the joys of reading while laid up in Ponyville Hospital. Can she finish her book before her friends discover her secret?"

Wow. They really needed to borrow Levar Burton off of Rescue Bots for this. "Remember kids, reading is an exciting adventure!"

I loved the entire Daring Do bit, and frankly, didn't need Ponyville and Raindbow Dash at all. Though the barking pony and Pony Battleship was pretty funny, but really, this episode was twice as long as it needed to be. Yay for Daring Do. I hope they make a sequel episode.

This was the episode I was waiting for! A lot more animation, tiny movements, great facial expressions, notice to small details, mythological accuracy, and TWO squees! They need to make more episodes lively like this one instead of ponies just standing there facing each other and talking for an entire scene. Pure gold for me.

Nayuki, was those the new animations you mentioned before the season?

Also, am I the first to notice the animation error at 12:39 where applejack says "Yeah, just go ahead and eat up" but, her mouth only forms the sound for "Yeah" yet she keeps talking after her mouth stopped moving?

but really, this episode was twice as long as it needed to be.

It was to make up for how fast and cluttered the first two episodes where.
