Sure, he's not as spot-on screen accurate as some would like, but I will often prefer Hasbro to engineer a no-cheat transformation as a priority. Also, I like how non-standard his bot mode kibble is. He's both hood-chester in both senses - the G1 Prowl sense and the G1 Sideswipe sense. I also like how the doors are on the forearms, and the roof/windshield ends up pretty unobtrusively on the undersides of the forearms. Glad he has a weapon from the show, even if it's not his buzz-saw (I'm pretty sure the CV version has that). Unfortunately, I'll probably limit myself to buying new characters at the CV sizes, so I may not get this one. -------------------- |

Thanks. I figured it wasn't a real car, I should have worded my question better. Is he wave 2, 3 or later? Or do we know? There must be some distance between him and Cliff, being that they're both red cars.

I think a lot of people are misinterpreting that hinge. I'm pretty sure it's just what allows the windows/doors (one piece, it seems) to fold down from the roof/windshield to close the arm. I don't think we're getting any further arm transformation/compaction out of this guy. Which is kind of fine to me. Feels like a development of the TFM Swindle transformation. -------------------- |

On the show's model, at least, the windows stay oriented up. So I don't think they're supposed to remain folded down for robot mode.
