So that means it will be very expensive to obtain on the after market. That is very clever.

Why deal with the Aftermarket? Wait for some one to KO it like they did with the Jihaz stuff. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon-primal.gif)

If this toy is licensed for Wonderfest release, then it's an official product, not part of this forum, right?

It's still a third-party product, designed and produced by a third-party. It just may (or may not, we don't know for sure) have an official liscence from Takara which doesn't make it's very existance illegal. Just as with Jizai's Wonderfest stuff.

Actually, if we were to use "3rd Party" correctly, then the only thing that should be here at all is this. Or the JizaiToys stuff. Or stuff like the G1 Minibot keychains or Movie Allspark paperweights and what have you.

And that still doesn't factor in that he'll also be extremely fragile as nearly all garage kits are wont to be!

I think the difference there would be LICENSED third party and UNLICENSED third party. These guys have a license to make a Bumblebee, but Fansproject doesn't have a license to make Springer.

Would be funny though if Fansproject made a licensed Wonderfest edition toy one day though, maybe just Springer with Autobut symbols and a more Springer-like head.

I know I said not to argue about semantics in the other thread, and I have a suspicion that I know where this is going to go, but... this licensed/unlicensed third-party thing is a made-up distinction that does not actually exist. We (as a collective fandom) tend to use the term incorrectly out of laziness and convention, not out of an attempt to excuse them as something they're not.
